I wanted to share my experience using the app Fubo on my TV streaming. I first tried them in January they had a 7 day free trial so I got to watch a playoff football game for free. I made sure I contacted them a few days later to cancel the trial. It worked out great. Cost me nothing. I found they are so easy and pleasant to deal with. Then I found out earlier tonight there was a Bruins game on.fubo so I tried using the free trial again tonight but it was a one shot deal which is fine. I ended up sending Fubo an email because they still have one of my credit cards on file and wanted to make sure there was no charges to my card do to me trying the free trial tonight for the bruins game. I wasn't able to watch them which is fine. But like I said I wanted to make sure nothing surprised me on my credit card statement. These days you have to keep a step ahead of some of these companies. About 30 mins later my phone rang. It was Fubo. The App people for my tv. The service Reps name was Emma. She was calling me back to make sure all my questions were answered. She went thru my account and reassured me that I had $0 Balance on my card. I felt so much better just knowing I didn't have to worry about any surprises. But I was blown away that this company was caring enough to call me back for a couple of reasons. One was to confirm no charges were put on my card. But also explain about the free trial and how that works. I understood 100% the Rep I talked with was one of the most pleasant persons I've talked to in a very long time. The whole conversation was just incredible. First off. I wasn't expecting a call. But for them to care enough to call me and walk me thru everything went above and beyond. So I would absolutely recommend Fubo to anyone who may stream instead of pay these outrageous cable prices. I was paying over $200 a month for basic cable. With the streaming. I bought my own router/tower at Best buy so I don't rent it off Xfinity anymore. My bill is about $70 a month. For there internet connections. But that's going to be changing very soon. T Mobile is my cellphone carrier there going to start carrying my Internet for home and cell for about $35 a month. And that will Mean after almost 15 yrs I can cut the ambillical cord with Xfinity. Cable. I will be done with them. No more fighting about outrageous bills. Omg I can't wait. So in closing this email. Again I want to say Thank you Emma from Fubo for your kindness Saturday night. You proved to me there are still some incredibly nice people left here on this planet. I've been in such a miserable mood for months cause of health reasons. Fighting M.S. and it's been kicking my ass the past 6 or 7 months. Emma gave me hope. Showed me there's still very good people around. Ok I'm closing this email by sending it. That was my experience with this Co. from Oct. '23 to Jan.'24. I would not recommend this company in the past few months and my dealing with this is how they conduct business. I had a 7-day trial that began on the 18th of October to end on the 25th. I did so for an elder I gave my word in '13, I would see after, and I do, it was for him to be able to see a Rangers game. ( He didn't have the network or cable at his house). I set it up on my device for that game and cancelled immediately following the Game. I didn't keep it through the 25th. FUBO, deceptively, charged my account for a full subscription on the 19th????( The trial period had not ended, that would have been on the 25th) so I cancelled immediately following the Game late that night and I received an email confirmation from FUBO TV, confirming my cancellation but my account was charged for the full subscription. The trial term said 7 days fm. the 18th-25th. So why did they charge when I already cancelled and received confirmation from them? That's what they did and I fought back and forth with them and the Bank concerning this deceptive madness and as of yesterday, it was off of my account finally. ( I deliberately did nothing else, except pay other bills, with that account until this was resolved). I would never refer anyone to this Platform. I tried speaking with someone via the # on the cancellation email and it referred me to a virtual chat assistant and never a live person, it was terrible the experience with fighting these Subscription charges I never authorized. Read moreI was very very happy with FuboTv. The app works flawlessly and has all the live channels we needed. I especially liked how easy the DVR was to use. Only con was that I had to pay the Regional Sports fee even though I said I did not want it, they said it had to be included in your channel line up, you could not eliminate it even though they charge you separately for it! It was an additional $1.99 a month so I accepted it because everything else was what I was looking for. The monthly payment was on auto pay and before I signed up I told them I must have a set price that is not going to fluctuate and stay at the quoted price. The reason I left Directv was because of the ever rising cost. I was told yes the price was not going to fluctuate. For three months all was great and then my credits card was charged $20 more in February. I received no email with an explanation and you also do not receive a monthly invoice or anything. I immediately called and was told the monthly price increased $5 and the Regional Sports fee went up to $13.99!! I again said listen I don't want the Regional Sports and they said it doesn't matter you have to pay it regardless. I also expressed my disappointment at not being told of any increase whatsoever. They then offered my $10 off my bill for three months. I immediately started shopping around once again for a streaming provider and there are other options out there for less with no Regional Sports fees. Also, there is no refund provided when you cancel and since they charge you one month in advance I am out that money, but when this month runs out I will cancel. Just be aware the price they state on their web site is not the final price. The Regional Sports fee is included in the package but an extra fee. I think it is...
