My girlfriend and I came here today for an early valentines day treat and booked the private room with sauna, steam, and salt bath. For $150 dollars an hour, here's the good and bad: Good: - the private rooms were great -- they were clean, spacious and had a great ambience (see pictures). - the sauna and steam rooms themselves worked great, and the sonos speaker that was included in the room was a nice touch. You could set the volume, the music, and listen to it throughout the room The bad: - when we arrived the baths were already drawn (which we were happy to see) unfortunately -- the water was lukewarm. We tried to draw some more hot water but there was no hot water (perhaps it was kept this way to prevent patrons from over using hot water? the showers had no such problem). We tried extensively to turn the knob in whatever way to try and snipe a little bit of warmth but unfortunately it was just cold water. - we clicked the "on-call button" a couple of times to fix this hot water problem, but unfortunately nobody came.I'm not sure if it was broken or we were ignored. This is a little button in the room that calls for service. In the end we decided to just give up, as walking out in our bathing suits to get some service to draw some hot water seemed (while being timed) was too much of a hassle. -lastly service was a little "off" -- we were never greeted with smiles and the employee we were with seemed almost confrontational. After we left our pod, he immediately ran in with cleaning equipment and started to clean. I mean we love to see the enthusiasm, but we also felt really rushed and the other pods were literally empty. There was nobody else there but us (which makes sense since it was a sunday at 11am) We left the front desk and nobody asked us about our experience, or about anything really. We got a meek "goodbye" and the front desk attendant looked really annoyed too ALL IN ALL - we wouldn't come back: - for $155 after tax for 2 people for 1 hour, it really is great if you're valuing a chic private experience, but service was "meh" at best and you are better off using your money at... -- sojo spa (for the entire day) -- get a couples massage for that money in chinatown (great deals on groupon) -- get a fancy dinner

My friend and I booked a 60 minute private spa session last week. We both enjoyed visiting communal spas before the pandemic, so the allure of being able to enjoy a sauna and steam room in privacy is what drew us to S10 Recovery. My friend and I both have a low risk tolerance when it comes to covid for personal health reasons, so we were a little taken aback when we arrived and saw someone cleaning our room without a mask just prior to our appointment. My friend wasn’t comfortable with this, so I politely asked the front desk staff if there was another clean private spa that hadn’t just had an unmasked person in it. They graciously accommodated our request, which I greatly appreciated and allowed us to have a more relaxing experience. The spa was clean and complete with nice details to create a luxurious environment. This is a good option for spa lovers who aren’t ready to unmask and sweat it out with strangers quite yet. Just be aware that S10 doesn’t check vaccination status or require staff or other guests to wear masks. Although that aspect was a little disappointing, it actually made their willingness to accommodate our hesitation...

Came here this past weekend for my bestfriends birthday. I like the set-up of how each room has its own spa treatments. Very intimate and great for those whom do not like large crowds. I do wish they had more time slots for reservations.

I definitely plan to come back and the gym is AMAZING ! I didn't get to train but as a former athlete, I am eager to use...
