This place get lots of praise, and the outdoor seating is cute with electric heaters. However, the inside looks a little less than finished, wine glasses are fairly pricey (~$18) and they tack on a "Technology Fee" to the final bill, notifying as such at the bottom of your receipt. (If it was on the menu, it was not visible to us). $35 for two glasses and the fee was $1.31. And it appears, based on the language, that the technology fee applies to all sales regardless if card or cash. At the cost of the wine and the neighborhood, the wine bar is not competing for the value-price guest who chooses to drink at the most economical spots. So why would the restaurant claim to need an additional charge on transactions? If a place is that greedy on the final bill, you'd start to imagine if they are also short the volume of their pours.

Happening location in the West Village on Hudson Street, my first visit and it was a busy Friday night, beautiful weather. The hostess/waitress worked to find us a table as soon as was possible and we got a nice spot on the sidewalk. Just had one glass of vermintino on this visit. I will say that I was expecting even a little bit more generous of a pour. I think it may have been a standard sized pour because my friend and I were served identical amounts. It wasn’t the most expensive wine at $14 but I would like more than three sips.

Probably the best brunch I've had in NYC. I've been to Lelabar plenty for their wine, but with their new brunch menu, I feel like I'll be there even more. Get the pancakes for sure. Their orange juice is super fresh (can't hurt adding some champagne to it). Vibes were perfect too for brunch, perfect outdoor seating. Went w a group of friends, we had to eat first so only have the pic of their bruschetta, but everything was beautiful and tasty.

We were excited to try this charming little wine bar, as the ambiance initially seemed warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the quality of the wine was very disappointing. I ordered a Malbec, but it tasted flat, with a lack of body and character—something I did not expect . What was even more surprising was that the glass was served without any opportunity to taste the wine first—a basic standard in any respectable wine bar. Throughout our visit, the waiter did not return to check if the wine was to my liking. When I politely mentioned the poor quality of the wine, the waiter offered no acknowledgment or attempt to address the issue and simply returned with the check. There was zero interest in understanding what was wrong or providing any alternative. I did not finish the glass, and the lack of attention to customer experience—particularly when it comes to wine—left me very disappointed. For a place presenting itself as a wine destination, both the wine and the staff fell far short of...

Met up with a friend here last night and think I might have found my new favorite wine bar. The atmosphere is so fun and energetic and with a reservation (since it's really hot in NYC right now) you can sit inside by the bar and enjoy the AC. To this end, do think they might need to get the AC cranked higher because it did get hot at the bar. The happy hour ends at 6P so get there early to partake of a good assortment of wine and snacks. Here's where I think they really provide a great experience. Their cheese and meat plates are perfectly curated. Lelabar - Give the man putting them together a promotion. Not only was he the friendliest person in there, he clearly is an artist. ⭐️ The only reason I gave a 4 on service was because it did take quite a while to get the bartender's attention initially (and it was crowded so understandable) but then he was lovely throughout. Great time....

Cozy Wine Bar with Stellar Service I had a delightful experience at Lelabar, a charming little wine bar. The ambiance was warm and inviting. But what truly stole the show was our waitress, Sarah. Sarah was attentive and knowledgeable without being overbearing. She helped us navigate the extensive wine list, offering thoughtful suggestions based on our preferences. Her passion for wine was infectious, and she made the entire experience even more enjoyable. We ended up trying a delicious orange wine that Sarah recommended, and it paired perfectly with the cheese plate we ordered. The selection of cheeses was impressive, and the accompaniments (artisan bread) were all top-notch.

The wine selection is excellent, the food is delicious, and the service is truly outstanding. And if you're lucky enough to be served by Sarah, you're in for...
