In the spring of 2022 our family began searching for an apartment somewhere between Pratt and NYU; a share for my son and daughter. Being somewhat new to the residential lease process, we were all a little nervous as we made our way through the learning curve. We tried a few different approaches both direct and with agencies. The process is rife with its share of bumps and dead-ends. We were dealing with limited time and intermittent availability of stakeholders. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience. I scheduled an apartment showing and received confirmation — even have the screenshots to prove it. I traveled over an hour and called out of work to make this appointment, only to arrive and be met with confusion, blame-shifting, and zero accountability from the team involved. Instead of owning up to the mistake, they played the blame game while I stood outside in the rain, completely disregarded.

This is not how you treat serious potential renters. Time is valuable, and this experience showed a complete lack of respect for that. If this is how they handle showings, I can only imagine what it’s like trying to rent or resolve issues as a tenant. I would strongly advise others to think twice before...
