Frames and Stretchers — Attraction in New York

Wow what a find! I purchased a burlap coffee sack in Colombia a few years ago. And I have gone to multiple framers in the city to get it mounted. No one could give me a direct answer on how they would do it that I was always left unsure of what the final product would look like. And since the sack would have to be cut up I didn't want to do something I'd end up hating. Thank god I waited until I found these guys! The moment I walked in they were clear and concise about methods and options for the final product. They were so helpful in working with me with the budget I had and still wanting to make it look perfect. Esp the frame! Yvette is attentive to detail ; both of them are extremely helpful and love their work. This review is long overdue. I want to thank Erick for his patience. This frame process began months ago. We had an original piece from Cuban artist Niels Moleiro and wanted only the best frame shop available in the city to handle this project for us.

After exhaustive research on the internet and reading countless of reviews on Yelp, we made the decision to work with Frames and Stretchers and it was the best decision.

We flew our piece from Miami to New York City. The piece is a gift to our daughter who was accepted into the masters program at NYU. We took the piece to Erick and he gave us a few options for stretching and framing.
