When I walked into Session Training back in March, I was only a few months postpartum. I barely recognized myself, my body felt foreign, my confidence was low, and even the thought of working out in a group setting felt intimidating. However, from my very first classes, first with Taylor, Britt, and Luke, then Cole and Megan, and the front-desk hero, Linden, the Session team changed that for me.
They welcomed me with such warmth and zero judgment. Each trainer met me exactly where I was, offering encouragement and safe modifications for my healing body while never letting me doubt that I was exactly where I needed to be. They celebrated every small win until those small wins turned into strength and energy I didn’t think I’d feel again so soon.
Because of them, I kept showing up for myself, week after week, month after month. Six month laters, I feel stronger and more capable, and more like myself again. Session isn’t just a gym, it became my sanctuary, and a true community of people who lift you up when you need it most by creating a space where healing and growth felt possible.

Read moreSession is the best gym in the city, hands down. I’ve tried lots of different classes and boutique fitness places, from Pilates to boxing, and Session’s programming has given me the best results.
Their programming is structured in a way where you aren’t totally unfamiliar with the movements every class, but they also mix it up enough to not get stale. There’s always room to challenge yourself, and the coaches are top notch.
I also appreciate all the other touchpoints that are super thoughtful— easy to use signup app, really, really friendly staff and a clean, well organized environment.

At first, I was hesitant and worried it would be too much for my ankle to get back into a 50-min class... but all the trainers here are amazing, they check-in often and make sure you have modifications for every move from the get-go. 7 months in, I'm stronger than I've ever been and finally found a place that I truly enjoy and want to come back to. Every week is unique, so I still feel challenged (+ don't get bored) and still classes are easy to follow. The only thing I wish was different is that I had joined earlier! tysm, y'all...
