Had a fantastic experience. I called and spoke with the front desk manager who was very helpful with securing me a last minute spot for the weekend.

The location is actually quite nice. There is a parking garage next to the business so finding parking is not an issue at all. I would say it's more of a hassle trying to park locally; especially for non-New Jersey folks.

I ending up booking the Cut, Wash, Blow and my daughter had a blast. Her beautician was Aura (forgive me if name is spell incorrectly). She was nothing less than amazing. Super responsive to my wife's request and double checking before making the cuts to shape her hair. My daughter had a scalp massage during the wash which really calmed her down.

They have TVs so keep your little one focused forward. In terms of cleanliness; I have no issues to raise.

My only recommendation for parents looking is that if your child is sensitive to overstimulation or noise; plan your session accordingly since it was a little loud from the kids and the multiple tvs playing at once.

I have been here many times with my other children and had good experiences. However, this was my first time with a newer stylist and I left extremely unhappy. My son has longer curly hair and I told her I wanted a trim just to clean it up but still wanted it long. I even showed her a picture of a previous haircut (from a different salon). She said she understood what I wanted then proceeded to cut his hair so short. I have been crying ever since because he doesn’t even look like himself anymore it is so much shorter than what I wanted.

Editing to add The owner Eda reached out to me very shortly after I posted my original review apologizing for the haircut my son received. Even though I didn’t have an ideal experience this time around I can appreciate her great customer service. She was very understanding and sympathetic of my feelings. I rarely write reviews, but Edamama Cute Cuts deserves one.

When you walk in, it is such a charming place with so many things to buy and play with. Your child would enjoy everything there, even just looking around.

They also have toys that they can play with while you wait.

Pilar is by far AMAZING and EXCEPTIONAL. She was so patient and understanding with us even though we were running late, but what tops it all off was that she and her energy were so great with my 2-year-old. She did a fantastic job cutting. My baby never cried or moved around. Pilar was so gentle with her. She also played Sesame Street on a T.V. in front of my daughter's chair while she was getting hair cut.

I also got a certificate for the first hair cut and she was mindful enough to save my daughter's hair for me.

This was a fantastic experience for my daughter and me as a parent.
