Sharp Styles Barbershop — Local services in New York

I have been looking for a good spot to get my haircut since moving to the city. After today I’m looking no more.

Signing up online was super easy, the location was great (a block from 86th street), and most importantly: Saul gave an excellent hair cut. He was attentive and listened to exactly what I wanted and finished me with a straight razor to get the neck and line me up. I have thick and pretty long hair, but he was able to walk with me very efficiently.

Will have to come back for a wet shave next time.

I live locally and have been going to Sharp Styles since it opened. Saul is my go-to hair cutting expert. Excellent technique and attention to detail, very kind and professional. I am generally uncomfortable with barbership small talk, but actually enjoy talking with Saul. Perhaps slighly more expensive then some of the options out there but fair for the location and Saul does his best to provide a premium experience. Ease of making appointment via Google or website is a plus. As is cleanliness...

I live a block away from this barbershop and decided to drop in for a hair cut because I unexpectedly had a few hours to kill. Christian sat me down. I have to be honest, I was initially reluctant as he looks like a teenager…so I immediately assumed that he was less experienced. But I’m glad I was proved wrong because it turned out to be one of the best haircuts I’ve had in a while!!! And my hair (Asian) and head shape is not easy to cut. I also think it is fairly priced in today’s economy....
