Shobha Midtown East | Threading, Waxing, Laser Hair Removal — Local services in New York

I bought an eyebrow package a few years ago and wanted to finish what I had left. The lady at the front desk confirmed I had one more eyebrow threading left in my package which I told her I would like to use. My brow came out great but when I left to pay she told me that my package was for a level one technician and she gave me a level two technician which means I can’t use my package and will have to pay full price, 37 dollars before tips. I was really annoyed obviously because my intention was to finish what was left in the package and not pay for a level 2 technician which I was NOT told anything about. She should’ve advised me before I got the service done that a level two technician was doing my brows. I wasn’t even given the option. She just kept apologizing. I didn’t want to be difficult so I paid for a service I didn’t not ask for. Be careful with what technicians they give you because the price difference is drastic. I never even heard of a place with different level eyebrow...

I passed by this location on my way home and thought I would stop by. The front desk employee mentioned that this was a new location and they are still setting up the space including adding an elevator to make the space ADA compliant. They accept walk in and appointments.

I had an account with them so it was easy to set up and appointment. I came a few minutes early and I was shown to an empty seat. The technician asked about my preferences and then explained the process. She was very polite and friendly. She also didn't get upset when I thought I had to sneeze. She even went as far to explain that was a common response when I told her sorry.
