TLDR: cleanliness was questionable at best, manicure & pedicure disappointing, and manager(?) just wants your money and wants you out. Will not be back and frankly would recommend you just get on the q12 around the corner and go elsewhere, or walk down to main st.

Probably the worst manicure & pedicure I have ever had and honestly I dont know where to start... for context I broke some nails so I wanted a manicure asap and ended up just wasting my time and money.

Cleanliness: The nail clipper & file came from a sandwich size ziplock bag. This should have been my first red flag.... The cuticle cutter just kind of appeared out of nowhere. I would like to give her the benefit of the doubt and say it was clean but i honestly dont know anymore. She did take some tools out from under the uv lamp for my manicure but I really dont think she did for the pedicure... Also, they didnt have the AC on (dont know if they have one) so they keep the door open and there were a few flies and a bee flying around.

Manicure: The color on my manicure was suuper patchy and uneven. She offered to put a third coat on, which she did, but it really didn't fix anything. She said its because its a creamy color and it looked fine but I couldnt get over how uneven it was and her trying to make it seem it was fine. She eventually offered to try again but with another color and thats what is shown below and this IS the better try... Im not sure if it comes through in the picture but the color was still a little patchy, i feel like you can see every single brush stroke (there were a lot of thin little strokes), and there are bubbles everywhere. You can also see the uneven-ness of when she cut my cuticle even after some nail oil was put on.

Sonia (possibly Sonya) While this was all happening Sonya who I cant tell is the manager or owner stopped by to check in between the 1st & 2nd attempt for the manicure and basically just checked out in the corner. I was still upset after the 2nd manicure so I asked to talk to her and the first thing she said before anything was "Whats the problem, its just a regular manicure?" I showed her my nails and asked if she couldnt see the bubbles & the brush strokes and she pulled my hand to her eyes and said "what bubbles? No this looks good. Shes been here for a long time like 7 years, i dont know what happened today, but this looks fine". Honestly my jaw dropped. Its one thing to say "yah, im sorry youre upset" - still doesnt fix the situation but at least its something, and outright gaslighting me to try to convince me this is a good manicure. She just looked at me and kept denying anything was wrong and kept telling me how much time my nail tech spent on me as though i should be grateful they spent time to fix their own mistake....

Overall: would never be back, and honestly for $45 ($35 mani-pedi & i tipped $10 because you pay before your nails are painted 🙃)you can find much much better nails...

I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to share my experience. I live in the neighborhood and have come to this salon several times, even though I’ve always told myself not to return. Today was the final straw. I went in for a gel manicure with a burgundy French tip design. The tech made the design bulky and uneven. I wasn’t happy, but I let it go. Just five days later, my nails started chipping and developing bubbles. When I returned, the same tech tried to “fix” it by simply adding more burgundy polish and clear coat—without properly reshaping or repairing my nails. The result was worse. I explained to the manager that my nails shouldn’t look like this after only a week, but she dismissed me and said one nail was broken, completely ignoring the rest. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and disrespectful. I left frustrated and disappointed. Save your money and go somewhere else if you expect quality service and a professional staff. If you’re fine with spending your hard-earned money on nails that chip and bubble within days, maybe this salon is for you—but I would...

never coming back. while the staff was very nice, the facility was not: there are flies everywhere, no sanitizing stations between customers, and the hand soap is literally just water.

got hands and toes done - the nail tech said she knew what she was doing but the shape is all off and uneven. the pedicure started off lumpy and i had to ask for them to be redone; i also was not asked what shape i wanted my toes. i was told to choose another color because they couldn’t figure out which gel polish matches their regular polish.

overall, don’t waste your time, money or energy. there are waaaay better nail salons in flushing at better prices and better...

The owner is such a sweet and welcoming lady—so kind and professional. I absolutely loved my nails; they came out natural and beautiful! With fall around the corner, I decided on a darker color and it turned out perfect. I’ve seen some of the negative reviews, but honestly, they are not true at all. This place is wonderful, and I’ll definitely be coming back. I love supporting our neighborhood shops, especially woman-owned businesses. The pedicures are amazing too, and the salon itself is spotless and smells like fresh flowers. Highly recommend! 🌸💅
