Ok so Ive taken an introductory class with Elizabeth before and she was great!! Then taken some morning classes with Spencer and he was also very nice! My friends and I had booked a 9am class with Sasha recently as that was one of the only time spots we could take a class after we dropped off our kids to school! It was my friends first time doing a reformer pilates class and as Ive had a positive experience with the other instructors before - I assured them it was going to be great! Ive heard positive things about this instructor but Sasha was definitely NOT friendly to those newer to Pilates! There was another guest there too that was a total pilates snow and kept making comments about how we shouldn't be taking this class! The instructor didn't go over any of the machine parts and corrected us super roughly (ex: squeezed my face and foot..)and responded many times by insinuating we didn't know what we were doing! Spencers never mentioned this was a more advance class or what was a more beginning level class! Maybe you guys need to start adding that in your class descriptions so people can sign up more accurately!! Honestly this instructor left such a poor taste in my mouth that I definitely wont be recommending this studio to any more friends! Everyone has to get their start somewhere and the instructors should be mindful to remember to be kind and compassionate! As moms trying our best to work on our fitness especially post partum - it just wasn't a...
Read moreI've taken a few classes here now. Before first starting, I called and left a message about purchasing an introductory package but no one ever got back to me. I ended up getting the regular package on the website since it was hard to get a hold of the studio.
My main concern is that for the Mat Pilates and Barre classes, the mats and weights appear dirty and old. Many of the weights are peeling and the mats are stained. Within a single class, we were told to return the used weights to the bin, and a few minutes later we were asked to grab a lighter set (weights were never wiped down from person to person). The reformer equipment was in better condition and cleaner.
On the positive side, the instructors are nice and try to get to know the attendees. The level of difficulty is lower than other studios I've been to but I'll probably continue with the barre classes here since the pricing is reasonable and there aren't many barre studios in the area. I do wish they offered the barre classes more frequently.
Regardless, newer and cleaner equipment would bump this up for me to 5 stars otherwise it's holding me back compared to other studios in the same...
Read moreThe classes are decent and the instructors are nice. However, customer service needs improvement. I have spent a good amount of money on classes here. Whenever I have called with an issue or a question and Spencer has taken the call, I’m always dismayed by his rudeness and lack of customer service. It doesn’t seem like he has any intention on truly helping the person on the other end. I just purchased a 5-pack because I’m visiting from out of town and wanted to take a class every day and the studio is close to where I’m staying. After my exchange today, I’m tempted to cancel the classes and ask for my money back. My advice: Offer better to paying clients, be solution oriented, we are spending our hard earned money to come here — there are so many other Pilates studios we could...
