I went to see Art Jaffe initially for shoulder pain and to improve my shoulder range-of-motion. Art was referred to me by my physical trainer Amanda Treadway. Art has helped with much more than my shoulder and I will explain a bit more shortly. The first two sessions with Art cannot be adequately described or captured in words, but I will summarize them as transformational! The impact was profound and immediate - literally the first session! Art worked on my neck muscles, my shoulders, my low back and the severe tightness in my legs. He has shown me new techniques to improve my flexibility and to increase my core strength. Circulation improvement was immediate as was numbness associated with neurological impingement. My sleep has improved. It really was surreal. I waited a few more days for my next session and I wanted to see if everything Art worked on would regress...nothing regressed! This is not a gimmick and it is not temporary. The results are real and Art's techniques work. I have my third and fourth sessions already scheduled.
Now, here's the important message: Don't Delay or Waste Time or Stick It Out with incremental physical therapy! Embrace the Unknown and Don't be Afraid - Art will Help You Heal!
I injured my shoulder playing squash and developed three tears, confirmed by MRI from a high impact collision with the wall - the wall won. After several months of trying rest, ice, reduction of inflammation, etc., I embarked on a physical therapy regimen. Prior to seeing Art, I went to physical therapy for more than a year for 2-3x per week for most of the time. In total, I estimate I saw a physical therapist over 100x. While I really like my physical therapy team, I was stuck and plateaued. I was frustrated because I wasn't making progress. I was willing to embrace the unknown. After two sessions, my shoulder strength, flexibility, range-of-motion improvements have been wondrous. On top of healing my shoulder, Art has helped with so many other physiological limitations that I didn't even realize were holding me back.
The last point, and I realize it may sound weird, but there is a psychological impact with healing chronic pain; at least in my case, it has been liberating and free! Please call Art - you...
Read moreIf you have come across Art Jaffe´s name or someone recommends him to you, Go!!! There are physical, emotional, mental, healing benefits awaiting you as an outcome of Art´s Spiral Techniques Neuromuscular / Myofascial release therapy. A treatment includes learning new knowledge and information about our body system and practices you can do to elevate your wellbeing and healing, also be pain-free. The amount of value I received after one session with Art two weeks ago (along with a previous mini experience when we were introduced) has been for me already phenomenal, life affirmative, expansive, liberating, with vitality and agility.
In my case, the resulting benefits include my daily full-spectrum health and wellbeing; restful through the night sleep; unleashed and released previously ´stuck´ low energy, and re-engaging empowered in my personal and professional lives. Over the past two weeks since my first session, I have been feeling unblocked and positive release in my body, mind, emotions after experiencing a lot of unexpected grieving after loss/death of loved ones; a physical accident years ago, compounded by Post-Covid long-haul and pandemic pain, stiffness, inflammation in my spine and along the back of my legs; plus the stress and trauma that comes along with life circumstances. When Art and I first met at a dinner - without knowing about his life´s work focused on relieving, releasing, healing, empowering people and our bodies – I shared with him about feeling like perhaps I was storing in my body, in the body´s cellular memory past injuries, trauma and grieving. Yet I had no idea how to release and heal myself. Thankfully, I discovered that Art Jaffe is an Extraordinarily skilled, gifted, talented, unique facilitator of a person´s full-spectrum wellbeing, health...
Read moreI started seeing Art 8 months ago. I'm a 27 year old male diagnosed with debilitating long covid that has taken me out of the work force for a year now. I also developed type 1 diabetes, high blood pressure, severe tachycardia to the point where I was gasping for air with a heart rate of 120 bpm just by standing, and many other symptoms. I also lost over 20 pounds (I was already slim). I had been to over a dozen doctors with frustratingly few answers. I've also tried other methods such as acupuncture, functional medicine doctors, and chiropractors with little success.
While there is no single easy cure for me, Art has worked magic on my body and nervous system which has shown significant improvements in my day to day life. He is extremely knowledgeable about the entire body while also remaining curious, and often devotes a lot of his personal time to doing research that could help me and his other clients. He's given me advice on things to do at home that has helped as well, such as certain breathing techniques and stretches and diet adjustments, which has helped my diabetes. These methods, along with his in person work, have helped lower my heart rate and reduced pain. Since I've started working with him, I've also gained back 25 pounds, and my resting heart rate is roughly 25 bpm lower. Additionally, my insulin requirement is about 20% of what it was. As he'll tell you, "I'm not a doctor, just an opinionated body worker." In my experience, however, almost all of his opinions have been correct. I'd recommend Art to anyone with...
