As in "I know we promised you that we'd waive the room rental fee for your small non-profit event and that we'd waive the drinks minimum so that you'd only pay for the drinks people actually ordered, but we can't imagine why you'd conclude from that, that we were also waiving our $300 (plus $60 service plus taxes) FOOD minimum which we never even mentioned (not even the word "food") until you saw the bill, even though the room was set up in a way that made serving food, much more eating it, absolutely impossible. Food has been decent but service even for to go is mediocre. Also, watching the bartender try and pour a liter beer was a little terrifying. Half foam then having to use two mugs to be able to fill one. Then on my drink she had to smell the mix to see if it was still good and just poured it on top of the liquor. No shaking no stirring. I was not disappointed… One thing that confused me was the menu in the room, the menu displayed at the entrance in the hotel lobby and the menu I actually received when I sat down were all different. For starters I got the focaccia bread which was excellent. It was topped with olive oil and herbs. For my main dish I got the margarita pizza which was also tasty. The menu had a good selection.
