What is wrong with businesses on and near Broadway? They all overcharge, by throwing arbitrary charges not listed on the menu. This happened to me on the Bushwick side at another place as well.
I asked for two onion slices. They're on the menu as $2.75. They gave me two slices with onions and peppers (I didn't notice the peppers) and then charged $3.50 each! Note that this is not listed on the menu anywhere. I would never pay $3.50 for a slice at a run-of-the-mill place like this. I had to negotiate with them to get my money back, and they proceeded to make a new pizza with just onions. Even then they didn't give me the proper refund. They gave me a dollar back, when they should have give me $1.50. At that point I'd had enough.
A business needs to clearly state what it is providing, and honor the customer's request. No customer should have to negotiate to get the price listed on the menu.
Pro-tip: double check what you should be charged BEFORE you pay. I made the mistake of confirming it after I gave them my credit card, which gave them much more leverage. And note that their menu prices include tax, so don't let charge you any.

Read moreSo I'm from Georgia and a buffalo bills fan. So I'm trying to go visit more often now and I always spend a weekend in NY when I go. I always stay in Brooklyn. I found this place by accident and fell in love. It's real clean and easy to get to. The people were really nice and helped me figure out what to get. Simple. Pepperoni, bacon. Sausage pizza. And they have these homemade cookies. Both so good that I left later then I wanted to to drive back to ga just so they could open and I got 2 pizzas and 2 dozen chocolate chip cookies to take back. By the way, the cookies lasted 2 days. That's it. And these are pretty decent size cookies. I'm thinking of taking a random trip up to NY just...
