⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I stumbled on BK Bagels at 1120 Broadway and I’m so glad I did! This place is a true neighborhood gem and checks all the boxes if you’re looking for a cozy spot to grab breakfast, lunch, or just a good coffee and pastry. First off, the vibe inside is super chill and welcoming — there’s plenty of seating along the window if you want to people-watch or work on your phone, plus a few tables for a quick sit-down meal. The white brick walls and big black chalkboard menus give it a nice, clean modern look, and the counter setup is really efficient. The staff here work fast but they’re also friendly and patient when you’re deciding what to get (which is hard, because the menu is HUGE). They have an impressive selection — from classic bagel sandwiches to burgers, wraps, fresh juices, pastries, and even lots of flavored cream cheeses. The cream cheese fridge alone is worth checking out — they have everything from scallion tofu and garlic cilantro to blueberry and strawberry. It’s fresh and well-stocked. I tried their iced latte which was smooth and perfectly balanced (and reasonably priced compared to most cafes). The pastries are fresh too — you can grab a croissant, muffin, or Danish right at the counter. They also have a fridge stocked with all kinds of drinks, from juices to sparkling water, which is a nice touch if you’re on the go. There’s a steady stream of locals, from construction workers on break to students and neighborhood folks, which tells you this spot has earned its place here. The music isn’t too loud, the space is clean, and there’s WiFi if you need to get work done while sipping your coffee. Overall, BK Bagels is the kind of place you can rely on for a solid breakfast sandwich, an afternoon coffee pick-me-up, or even a casual lunch. Prices are fair, the portions are generous, and they clearly care about freshness. Highly recommend if you’re in Bushwick/Bed-Stuy area — whether you’re a bagel purist, a coffee lover, or just need a comfy spot to take a break.

I ordered a 16 oz English breakfast I was charged $4.50 I showed them the sign that says 16 oz tea $2.75 the person argued with me and said these are our prices. I asked to speak to a manager and he said we don’t have one here. I spoke with Miguel who when I asked why is the price wrong he said something under his breath after asking.he then changed the price to $3.00 and moved it to 12oz. Which made no sense since I asked for 16 oz like the sign said. He ignored me showing him the sign where it says 16 oz $2.75. I still do not understand why English breakfast and oat milk is even $5.00 that’s weird. If you’re not Caucasian you won’t be treated nice here, they jump and are friendly to them it’s awkward especially this is a brown and black neighborhood. Anywho tea shouldn’t be $5.00 with tax included.

People are hard on this place, the service has been really kind and personal for a bagel shop. I got 2 bagels here in one week, the first was scallion cheese with onion/tomato/capers and then I got the whitefish sandwich, both on everything bagels. Both were really good although I don't have much to compare to for the whitefish. They made a cortado from my description even though it wasn't on the menu. Their regular black coffee is also good. The bagel itself is a little bready but it is delicious so I don't care. They do have a nice interior that is comfortable. It's worth a stop and I think less expensive than other bagel shops in this area.

An absolute joke. They used to be good but their service and quality of food has gone down the drain. Does BK Bagels think it’s cool and/or edgy to be unpleasant and rude? I sometimes end up waiting 35 minutes for just a cream cheese sandwich and THEY get mad at me for waiting that long. I worked in a bagel shop for 4 years in the heart of city center, I know how it goes, and I can see this is one of the most poorly run bagel shops I’ve ever seen. Here was my most recent experience…

Went in for an egg white and cheese. Cashier gave me the coldest welcome in brooklyn breakfast history. but what can you expect from someone wearing a “I have mood swings” graphic t shirt. Not even a Hi, or anything. A literal glare. Anyway, I asked for egg white and cheese with a hashbrown on it. I got rung up for: egg avocado and tomato no hashbrown. I said “hey I just want egg white and cheese with a hashbrown”. Had to repeat myself like 4 times for my order to be corrected… Back and forth like 4 minutes with this cashier who won’t even reply to me and is giving me a dirty look for something as simple as an EGG WHITE AND CHEESE. I get my order: sausage and egg? Completely wrong. It felt like the cashier was honestly deliberately fucking with me because I was being very clear and they were ringing up random stuff left and right, and no matter what I said, it was like; “hah fuck you and your specific order”

Last week I went in for a Ham and Cheese. Like a breakfast sandwich minus the egg. Instead I get 2 slices of ham and 1 slice of American cheese for $8. What an absolute joke.

Meanwhile during the order screwups in my 25 minute session here: My friend’s order was given to the wrong person Witnessed another customer order an egg and cheese and be given a “bacon and egg” Another customer just waited and waited and never received their food. We were in there for like 25 minutes. There were 4 of us customers and they messed up every step of the process for literally all 4 of us customers. It was not even busy. It was 3pm and you had 8 employees running around your kitchen getting every order wrong for 4 people. I have experiences like this every time I come here now. What happened? I’ll go to the bodega across the street now. Terrible service and the food is actually not even that...

The worst bagel place. Ordered delivery for an event. When I called, the lady who answered the phone had said that the delivery guy was late and wouldn't be getting in till 8am. I mean 8 am in New York City. Finally when our order arrived around 8:40am the bagels were hard and cold. After laying the bagels out for everyone and calling people over we realized they hadn't sent utensils to cut or for the spreads. So I called the delivery guy he said he would be back in 5 minutes with the utensils. After about 15 minutes I called back the place and spoke to the lady on the phone again and was shocked and horrified nothing was sent to us. She put me on hold and then when she came back said they ran out of utensils. Really? What kind of place is this? Would never order here or recommend anyone else ordering here. To top things off. When I ordered all the cream cheeses we had asked for 1 small vegan cream cheese. When the delivery guy arrived he said it would be 4.99 for the vegan cream cheese. If you saw the size of this. The thing shouldn't have cost more than 50 cents as the size of the container for that cream cheese was enough for one person. Ridiculous. Find a better bagel place. This...
