Steve Madden — Local services in New York

I usually never write reviews but this the worst customer service I have ever had. They were extremely unprofessional and simply rude. When I say they I am referring to multiple associates. I went to purchase shoes and they gave so much attitude when I asked for a different size. After they took time to look for it they ultimately said they'd order it to the store. They did not tell me it would mean an additional cost. I would've ordered online if it was going to cost me more and my time commuting there. A few days later I notice that the receipt on the name was spelled wrote as well as the email which I needed to track my package. When I was given a call a week later from the purchase date I came in expecting both shoes but I only recieved one. When I asked the associate she said for me to wait while she attends to another customer. I did not like having my time wasted while waiting for another customer. She should've managed her time better. The associate proceeded to check on my parcel and told me to come back the next day. It would've been informative for her to tell me that only one shoe arrived so I wouldn't have to make multiple trips. The next day when I come back the workers did not greet me when I came in, there was no one else in the store. They immediately gave me attitude and proceeded to waste my time while I waited for them to retrieve the shoe. Again I was told by another associate to come back tomorrow. The following day I had a friend pick up the shoes since I did not want to go back there. The friend said slammed the shoes and was not so friendly. There is a lack of consideration when you make someone take multiple trips to the store. Overall the shopping experience was not the best. I usually go to the location in Herald Square, I will not be coming back. I would hope there is a way to contact management about...

To the “dearest” pregnant manager lady and the other store assistant. I told you that the same shoe you are selling at 99.99 is 69.99 at the SOHO store. I asked to call the SOHO store and do a price check, and you had the nerve to lie to my face and say that you called them and it is 99.99 there as well….You also mentioned that there are a lot of people trying to scam the system and made me feel like I was stupid when I saw the price with my own eyes. My only mistake was that I did not take a photo of the price tag. I went back to the SOHO store to check that I am not stupid. Well I told you that I am not lying, this time I made a photo. Sorry, but this is not how a manager should...

Been coming here for a while and things have taken a turn for the worse, went into the store for some shoes they didn’t have my size but allowed me to order it online to have it delivered to the store, is been a month no emails nothing phone updates. I have been calling and every employee I talk to has no idea what is going on, I contacted Steve Madden directly and they say the item was delivered accordingly but they seem to not have it in the store, mind you this is the second time this has happened. There’s no communication between employees and nobody cares to check...
