Tombolo NYC Flagship — Local services in New York

This store was very hard to deal with on returns and exchanges. I have bought a number of the shirts (maybe 10 over the years as gifts). The shirts are cool but have shrunk A LOT. The store said this was common on the year 1 shirts and was a recognized issue. I went to the store for a couple of returns exchanges. Each time, they had to check the system, wait for 30 mins while they located my purchase, asked tons of questions, questioned the return, etc. This was not a normal American style customer is always right operation. Eventually they did the exchanges and returns but not with a lot of time, and A LOT of unnecessary questions, verifications with the manager who was not there etc. Make sure you choose right. Erin at this boutique location was beyond helpful. She was amazing!! I had ordered a shirt for my husband ahead of a trip we were taking but it unfortunately wasn't going to arrive on time. We had a some of our NY friends on this trip so I had the though to buy the shirt from the boutique have it couriered to one of our friends who was flying down and Erin made it all happen seamlessly. She also got customer service to reply to me about the delayed shipment immediately; normally it takes 24-48hrs which is standard. I was so appreciative to her and my husband (and all of his friends) loved the shirt. He got so many compliments. Will definitely be popping into this location the next time...

The Tombolo Flagship is my new favorite store in the city (seriously)! If you're looking for a way to stand out and turn heads, this is the place to go.

I get stopped on the subway and told how "unique" my matching foot-themed shirt/shorts combo is, or that they've "never seen" anything like my cropped button down on a guy before. The clothes are great quality, so comfy, and definitely “one-of-a-kind” - and the store’s staff is super helpful in helping to curate an aesthetic that’s as unique as its customers are.
