This is the same crossfit box I always go to with much more spacious location. That to say, all the equipment there are brand new!! I've been a member of this box since May 2016 and so far this is the best crossfit box I've been to.
After 7 months rehabilitation from hip injury due to horrible crossfit programs in another box, I become very picky and more aware when it comes to good or bad program. I gave another crossfit attempt at this box and I joined immediately. That's how convincing the program is.
Ant's crossfit program is a top notch and designed with a purpose. After 2 weeks joining his classes, I hit +10# PR for my back squat, which was the main culprit for my hip injury. That was an amazing progress considering I just got back from injury and had been hitting the same # for few months before the injury. He incorporates powerlifting/weightlifting program to his crossfit cycle to help us getting stronger consistently. By consistent, you can actually feel the result and see the difference in your body by end of the cycle. It is because how great his programming is. My overall strength and gains increase a lot with no injury at all. So far, I haven't experience the workout with the same targeted muscle back-to-back.
Anthony's explanations are very thorough and details. There are many movements that I couldn't do before joining this box, such as handstand hold/pushup, rope climbing, etc. I managed to learn how within few classes. He encourages his athlete to always give a shot or scales when needed.
Other coaches are equally amazing. Coach Andy for morning class has great way to create a community for each member to know each other. He coached me how to run efficiently, especially because I hate running so much. Coach Tommy is also very helpful for pointing out my mistakes. He took his time carefully observing what went wrong with my lift and technique.
In my experience, there are some coaches out there who will degrade your ability to do certain movement, and keep shouting and yelling at you when you are making mistakes. Some of them will even laugh and make fun of your improper technique. Coaches in this box are definitely not the case. They will guide you step-by-step and you can always give a shot with their assistance. I am a slow learner when it comes to technique. All of the coaches are very patient, when it comes to coaching. In addition, the coaches will modify the workout if you have injury or tightness/soreness, but you will definitely experience the same intensity.
So far, this box is the only box that offers powerlifting under the same membership, which is another reason why I joined
I am extremely picky for things that do not meet my standard. For me, I rather have amazing community and coaches than beautifully decorated gym with full of douche. I am extremely satisfied with overall program, community and coaches!! If you want to experience amazing program and community, who actually treat you like a friend and part of crossfit family, you definitely need to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI started at CrossFit Unleashed 2 months ago and take class pretty much every weekday. The instruction at the gym is really good, and I appreciate that they offer scaling with every workout. There are definitely workouts where I don't have a skill or can't lift the prescribed weight, and it's really not a problem. I can do the workout at my level. I hadn't done much barbell work before starting, and it's been empowering to improve my lifting form and build strength. The best thing about the gym is the community though. What really keeps me consistent is I just like being with the people there. Ant, the owner, puts a lot of energy into building the community, and it really shows.
Update 2024: I'm just short of 2 years at this gym. I've gotten so much stronger! I'm still not able to do the prescribed weights in lots of workouts, but it's really inspiring to workout alongside the folks who can. I'd like to also target this review to my fellow middle-aged folks. If you're hoping to live independently for as long as possible, this is an amazing workout. We're all going to lose strength as we age (though strength training can significantly slow it). Max lifts help you figure out the body positioning and bracing that allow for maximal force output now when you're healthy, so you have it when you're very old and need to be able to lift your own body out of a chair or...

Joined Unleashed as I needed more programming to train for my first Hyrox. The endurance programming here is so phenomenal; they really push you to give your best effort and then some more. 5K row, 100cal air bike, 5K run for time - didnāt think I could but we all did it.
The PEOPLE: My first CrossFit experience and I could not have been luckier to start here. Ant and the coaches are knowledgeable, encouraging, and welcoming. Theyāve helped me figure out great scale options as someone new to CrossFit and gymnastics. Iām also so impressed with the community here - so friendly, welcoming, and seeing everyoneās progress in just a year or two at this box gives me a lot of encouragement to stick with it. People are FIT AF and you want to see that in a gym.
The PROGRAMMING: some other gyms and classes will rush the warm-up, but Unleashed is so thoughtful with their warm-up to really activate the muscles required for the WOD. I think that helps a lot with injury prevention and allowing you to do your best effort each session. The special events and weekend programming are so FUN! And the drop in class packs means my friends can join for a session or two. A much more engaging and fun hangout than your usual dinner and drinks.
Couldnāt recommend Unleashed enough - All you have to...
