Do not play with me about this salon! The treatment I received here was beyond amazing! I had gotten an acrylic overlay on my natural nails about 2 weeks ago. That was a mistake. Those nails just weren’t it. Plain and simple. I’m visiting my boyfriend and was starting to have issues with the nails. One was lifting and I had smashed the other in a drawer, both were in some serious pain. So I find this salon online and loved their reviews. I was definitely a fan that they used Japanese calgel. I am currently stationed in Yokosuka, Japan and have grown accustomed to their gel. It’s amazing and lasts!! So I scheduled my appt and they were able to fit me in first thing the next day. I get to the salon and I’m greeted by Junio (I believe is her name, I didn’t catch it during the appt but I noticed that’s what she put down for when I sent her tile via Zelle). She was very pleasant and thorough with everything. It took her just over an hr to fully remove the acrylic from all of my nails. She took her time and was very informative of all she was doing and seeing when it came to taking care of my nails. She was very knowledgeable and helpful and I am grateful she was taking care of my nails because that acrylic really messed them up. I’m sad that I do not live here or visit often because this would be my go to mail salon. But now I know where to go when I come back to visit my boyfriend. Thank you so much for your help with my nails. I...

Like everyone says, the people are very nice and the salon is clean and calming, but after two rounds of a hard gel manicure I have to say I’m so sad and stressed about my nails in a way I’ve never been before.

I’ve been getting hard gel on my natural nails for 2+ years and it’s let me grow out my natural nails to a nice long length for the first time! The first time I came here for hard gel TWO of my nails broke at the halfway point and had to be cut down and Gel-X (these annoying plastic nails they glue on) had to be added. Within ONE week, one of these nails popped right off! I went to get it fixed and they charged me $11 (if you do the math then a full set would be $110 which it is NOT). Then two days later, one of my natural nails that was supposed to have hard gel completely ripped off and you can see how incredibly thin the application is - basically just regular gel at this point. The application overall was lumpy and uneven and I felt really sad and annoyed that I’m going to have to go find another nail salon and to pay 2 weeks later to have all my nails cut down short after 2 years of keeping them long.

Ladies, please train your technicians to properly apply hard gel or just don’t offer it at all because saying you offer it but then producing these awful results is...

I loved my first visit but second visit was not great. 1. The woman who schedules appts on the phone and the owner were both very rude and unfriendly on the phone. I rescheduled my appt due to work and they were very intimidating. Not a nice start. 2. I had one lady doing my hands and one on feet, one of them was quite rude and judging me when I said I didn’t want my cuticles pushed back. Made a face and judged me… sorry, I’m the one paying for the $100+ nails, surely I get to choose what I want done? Without being judged? Basic customer service skills lacking. 3. She was not very good at nails and I could’ve done my toes better. 4. My fingers were also done so so poorly - the gel peels off within 5 days and was not put on my nail right - missing edges etc. 5. When I left, they demanded I leave a tip with one woman (the toes girl) insisting ā€œyou don’t have my venmo? Get itā€. Won’t be going there again and would honestly like a refund.

UPDATE: I got a toenail fungus under my big toe nail from this salon. They better give me a refund or i'm taking...

I had a really pleasant experience by end Jan this year at this store.. as my first visit! I have to say Calgel is so different and works much better for me! My nails feels much stronger than using shellac. I’ve seen Japanese artist using this type of gel and finally I got one for myselfšŸ˜ The artist at this store is so careful, attentive, friendly and helpful.. I was unsure about what color/style/decoration do I want and she is really patient, bringing up every adorable stuff she have and we design it together! Didn’t expected that the process will take as long as 2.5hrs!! But the result is so adorable🤩shiny shiny🤩 I was doing heavy hand work so few of it started to fall 2 weeks later, but with a little golden nail polish it’s perfect again, and the rest of them last almost a month.. and still looks pretty because of the gradient design. this is amazing.. never have my shellac last this long before🤯 I highly recommend themšŸ¤—
