Wendy's Laundry & Dry Cleaners — Local services in New York

Sadly, I feel the need to edit my old 4 star review. I have used Wendy’s all year and at first I was happy with the service even though it’s expensive. However, the past several times, the service has been pretty terrible. For example, this past week they told me my laundry would be delivered at 5 and then 5:45 rolled around with no laundry. I called and they said the third party where it’s washed had not delivered it yet. It would have been nice for them to call and tell me this, since I sat home waiting for it and almost missed an appointment I had. She asked if it could be delivered later and I said “please call before you send it, because I have an appointment and may not be home.” Sure enough, the delivery person calls asking where I am, because the lady I spoke with never called me like I had asked before sending her. I had to wait until the next day to get my laundry. The same bad service happened the next day. The lady said the laundry would arrive at 5. 5:15 rolled around and still no laundry. Great company, used them for 1.5 years, starting when my washing machine broke. They’ll have your laundry done at a decent price, usually 15-20$ if you have a small load. They came up a 5 flight walk up and it was always a super nice woman, I’d give at least a 5$ cash tip each time. The woman who owns the company and sometimes answers the phone is very nice too. As a fitness studio, we have a constant laundry turnover from 6am-8pm. We have 8 locations in Manhattan and Wendy's is the only laundromat we NEVER have to call to check on / ask to deliver towels. We are always fully stocked, everything is folded neatly and they even smell great. We're very impressed with the service from this laundromat and hope to keep the secret safe!
