Windsor — Local services in New York

If i could give zero stars i would! I usually like this Store. For this specific Visit i came here two days back to back in search of A dress. I finally found one i seen in the window. I asked An employee of i could have it because I am definitely going to purchase it & there was no more In the store. She went to go ask another employee which I overheard the employee telling her that she can basically do it on her own discretion as long as she replaces that dress with another dress. Unfortunately, the employee comes over to us and tells us that she wasn’t able to do it. I informed her that I just overheard her and I heard the conversation and knew that it was at her discretion so she basically was making a choice not to do it instead of actually not being able to do it. She brings her manager over the manager, Dana continues to lie and now says something completely different, basically saying that she just put them in the window this morning, and basically saying that she wasn’t able to remove it, which made no sense, because why are you advertising something that you don’t have in the store. Honestly, it just sounded like no one wanted to remove the dress off the manikin, and all three of them gave us different excuses. I don’t understand why they would choose to miss out on a sale but OK. Bad business. And if they’re going to lie about the reasoning that they should at least talk a...

I came in the store with my kid looking for a prom dress. We only saw size S and needed a different size. Asked a rude lady on the floor (later found out she is the manager, didn’t get her name) she loudly said, whatever you see there is what we have.

Decided to try on the dress, encountered a polite young lady in the dressing room, her name could have been Nicole (I could be wrong) she let me know we can order the other size at the register and it will ship free of charge to my home.

Walked over to the register and encountered Olivia, a ray of sunshine, she was so happy to help, tried to order the dress for me and discovered there was ONE left in the store, walked over to look for it and came back so happy with the dress in her hand.

I gave a 5 star review because of the super star workers they have there. I honestly was going to walk out of the store when the manager loudly and rudely spoke to me, my daughter really wanted the dress and so I decided to let her try it on.

P.S. while making the long line to try on the dress, a customer looking through the rack, dropped a hanger. Manager walked over to her and said “you dropped something.” It was just rude. Didn’t give the customer a chance to pick it up before yelling at her.

Horrible customer service at the Queens Center Mall location. I Went in with my teenage niece who was looking for a dress for her school dance. When we entered, we were not greeted or acknowledged but others were. When my niece found a dress, she wanted to try it on. A very rude employee rushed over to say the fitting rooms were closed because the store closed at 8PM. As someone who worked in retail, I’d understand completely. But it was past 8PM and customers kept coming in as their doors were wide opened. I did not catch the employee’s name as I did not want to cause a scene and ruined my niece’s shopping experience. But she is a thin, average height Asian girl with black hair. Extremely disappointing experience at Windsor as it was our first time shopping there but it’ll definitely be the last. Please, retrain your employees in customer service or hire completely new employees who will not catch attitude...
