Yuzu Spa - Facials & Head massage — Local services in New York

Yuzu Spa has been my heaven on earth for over 5+ years! I was initially looking for a good head massage place given I hold a lot of stress there and suffered from migraines. I have since been a regular customer and tried and loved all their services. Everyone at Yuzu is incredibly sweet and kind and wants to understand how to best support your short - and long-term health.

I've had amazing experiences with Naoko, Maki, Aki, Kim, Sakura. I've recommended Yuzu to countless friends and colleagues and brought my mom. I've been going back to Naoko for the last year, and she always asks me how I'm feeling and what I want to focus on. She's helped me with my sun induced breakouts in the summer to my jaw problems with teeth grinding and, of course, reducing migraines from working an office job with long hours in front of a computer.

Yuzu Spa is truly my all-time favorite place for relaxation and stress relief! My go-to treatment is eye strain relief since it has a little of everything. The rooms are clean, smell nice, music is gentle and soothing, and services are high quality. Highly recommend...

I went in for a face lifting and head massage. I was booked in with Kim. Kim was AMAZING. They were fully booked and I was running a couple mins late but she was still so accommodating to me. She lead me into the room and clearly directed me to what I needed to do and even helped me take off my necklaces so efficiently. She then told me that I’m exfoliating too much and my cleansing is too good, I need to chill with the exfoliation and focus more on moisture. She also advised me to eat more protein to help fill out my cheeks and help regain a more youthful look. Now for the massage, honestly, best money I’ve ever spent. I can’t remember the last time I felt so little tension in my neck and upper back. Even Kim seemed a little surprised at how much tension I was holding in these areas, asking me what I do for work because I was so tense. She went in, not a muscle left unattended, I feel more mindful and aware of my body, and I went home and slept for 12 hours. I’ve booked in again with Kim, I’m already super excited for my next visit. 100% would recommend to anyone looking for...

I wanted to like this place because the lady that serviced me was nice, but it just kept testing my limit. I purchased a deal on Groupon, a few days before my appointment I received a "required (consent) form" to "suggest" that I need to tip at least 18% and they indicated a specific amount in the form. On top of that, they requested signature to agree that I would pay a sales tax of $4, in NYS the beauty tax is 4.5% so $4 is slightly more than what is legally allowed in NYS based on the cost of my groupon deal. I decided to let go and signed the form, and made it to my appointment....my beauty technician was nice and sweet but the service was not what I expected. At this point I was still considering going back to try other services. But a few days later I found out they reversed my cash back rebate. I purchase the groupon deal via a cash back website. Given all of the above, i just feel like this is a very sneaky business and unfortunately I will not be returning for...
