Service/Experience: I highly recommend TALS Studios for professional headshots. The process was affordable, seamless, and hassle-free. Yoni was incredibly accommodating and professional throughout. I booked the 15-minute headshot package for a 9:30 AM slot on a Monday, a day in advance. On arrival, I found a small lobby with a few chairs and a Ring doorbell for entry. Once inside, we began the shoot and finished in 10 minutes. Yoni assured me that if I wasn’t happy with the photos, he’d reshoot them for free. After reviewing the initial set of photos, I realized my nerves and lack of sleep had impacted the results. I contacted Yoni, and he graciously accommodated me for a retake that same afternoon. The difference was remarkable—I loved the photos from the retake. Yoni’s dedication to ensuring his clients are satisfied is reason enough to book his services.

What to Expect: The session is quick and efficient—approximately 30 professional headshots in under 15 minutes. The lighting is strong, but Yoni navigated challenges like glare from my glasses, recommending shots without the softbox for better results. For $99, the package includes a 15-minute session, a gallery of 30-40 photos, and two touch-ups, which is exceptional for NYC. Yoni even provided both sets of photos from the morning and the retake. This was a streamlined process ideal for those who need quality headshots quickly, not a highly detailed, bespoke experience. The studio also has a friendly dog and cat.

I was the client before this individual’s appointment - my session started at 9:30 AM, and I was out by 9:35. While exiting, I encountered Tamekia in the lobby, who remarked, “Oh, so there is somebody in there,” to which I replied, “Yes, he was working with me.” She then began loudly and aggressively complaining to the wall about Yoni not answering the door and vowed to give him “an attitude.” I ignored her and left.

When I returned at 1 for my retake, Yoni apologized for the behavior I’d witnessed earlier. He shared that he canceled Tamekia’s session due to her escalating aggression and showed me the video footage from the lobby's Ring camera, which revealed Tamekia leaving at 9:44 AM while spewing hateful, vitriolic remarks toward him and violently kicking the studio’s front doors. The behavior captured in the video was appallingly unhinged, violent, and entirely unacceptable. What’s even more egregious is Tamekia’s attempt to downplay her actions in her review as merely “an attitude.” In reality, her behavior included deeply hateful verbal attacks, so disrespectful they shouldn't be repeated, and attempted property damage. It’s unreasonable to expect a professional service provider to continue working with someone who behaves this way. Tamekia’s previous reviews reveals a pattern of hostility, including calling immigration on a business over a language barrier. It takes real nerve to accuse others of fake reviews while parading around in public with an obviously counterfeit LV bag. Her behavior, both in person and online, is a masterclass in audacity, entitlement, and a stunning lack of self-awareness.

Final Thoughts: Yoni demonstrated commendable professionalism and composure in dealing with this volatile situation. Despite the encounter, he delivered exceptional service during my retake and ensured I left with photos I was thrilled to use. TALS Studios offers excellent value, quality, and customer service. I have never heard or seen anything crazier in my life,I am surprised he issued me a refund because man is out of mind literally he did not even apologize.I booked photoshoot in advance,called to ask him if i can apply make up on site,he agreed,i was happy about it ,everything seemed to work fine,I packed suitcase night before,early morning i went to do hair at the salon,then i went to studio, weather sucked, it was windy and rainy,i struggled keeping my hair in a cape preventing it from getting wet.I got there almost 2hrs early and no one answered, after me literally calling 20 times,he picks the phone mad and tells me that i am early and he told me to show 1hr prior(he never did),after i tried to figure if he gets there eventually or not he literally said that he cancels.Man talked to me like i owe him million dollars.he never cared for me spending my time and money to get hair done.He just wanted to cancel which would be totally fine has he done it at least a night prior.Below , with his answer, he continues to show how he treats customers, you can draw your conclusion.11 am is an adequate time for a business to be open and again, he never me that I should come strictly one hour prior.Real professionals in this industry always come beforehand and if I would ever run late,I would give my customers all the time in the world to get ready if that would be my fault.When booking a photoshoot, pay attention that he almost has all the time available which means no bookings at all.I lived long time in Israel so i can see where this attitude comes from(not a big deal for us there) however this is hardly tolerated in US.Anyway I was lucky to avoid this unnecessary...

This was my very first photoshoot. Yoni was the absolute best and made my partner and I feel very comfortable. It was a fun shoot the entire time. He was creating different effects for us, without us asking. He definitely pulled out his creativity and it was much appreciated - all we had to do was change our outfits and he told us how to pose and chose the effects he thought fit best (EXACTLY WHAT WE NEEDED). He took his time and was also very patient with us.

Price-wise, guarantee you cannot find a price like this. I was skeptical because I said there's no way it's so cheap with what the maternity package comes with, but IT'S REAL! He's real, it's true! I had a 2 hr shoot, and he sent us a little over 250 photos (NO WATERMARK). Although they are medium-quality, they are still all mine to keep forever! You get to pick 15 photos for him to send in HD/have them touched up. Still worth every single penny. Also, unlimited outfit changes, unlimited poses... I literally cannot be grateful to have found him!!
