I would like to express my deep indignation regarding the inappropriate behavior of a security guard at the store in Soho on October 2nd. I went to the store to personally pick up a pair of shoes I had purchased online, accompanied by my two children in a stroller. From the beginning, I felt extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed by the security guard’s attitude, as he seemed to be harassing me, making comments about my appearance and asking where I was from.
To make matters worse, when the salesperson came to meet me and help me enter the elevator, the security guard made a “stop” gesture as if I was not allowed to enter the store. I was left with the impression that he prejudicially assumed I wouldn’t be able to afford anything in such a “high-end” store. It was only after the salesperson informed him that I was there as a customer that the security guard finally allowed me to enter.
This situation was deeply humiliating, especially because I was alone with my two children.
