I bought a pair of jeans on a Friday and Kyle was very helpful. I needed them shortened so I had them done with their "in-house" tailor. I was promised that they'll be ready by the following Wednesday at 2pm - which is written on the pick-up slip. I leave the paper bag with my original receipt.
Wednesday comes, I call around 1130am to make sure that the jeans are ready. They said I should come at 2pm and it will be ready. I get there at 3:40pm and I wait for 10minutes. The first girl tells me that "it's being packed together w the other alterations and it should get here in 10minutes - if not, she will go there and grab it herself as its only 2 blocks away." I wait for another 10minutes and another girl comes and tells me that it's done and she is sending one of the employees to pick it up. I wait for another 10minutes and nothing shows up. Finally, another girl comes to me and tells me the horrific news "they're being done right now and it should be ready in 15minutes or less" "it's 3 blocks away if you want to pick them up there - it's called & cleaners on grand street - you can't miss it. "
my point is that I'm really disappointed as I had to pay $5 to have it done and the wait was such an inconvenience as I have a whole day planned out. I ended up going to the tailor myself and as I got there, it was folded and was just sitting on the counter, no paper bag no plastic no nothing. Why spend hundreds of dollars on jeans when it would just be treated this way? In the end, I got my jeans, without any receipt whatsoever. It's really unprofessional for such a luxury brand. Read moreMy boyfriend’s a fan of Acne Studios, so I dropped by to check out any new arrivals or men’s shirts. The doorman literally just stood there staring at me while I opened the door myself—didn’t even bother to help. I walked in and no one greeted me. I even made it obvious that I might need help, trying to get someone’s attention, but I was completely ignored.
It’s been a while since I visited Acne in person, and honestly, the whole experience left a bad taste. I ended up walking out and buying something at ami next door instead.
The staff were acting like they work at Miu Miu or something. Weather’s nice but the attitude totally ruined my mood.
I heard Archive 75% off sale is happening online on April 9 anyway—save your energy and money skip giving these people commission. Might be worth checking out another location...
Read moreIm giving this store 5 stars because their staff is really nice and helpful, the store is clean and perfectly organized. There is nothing wrong with the store or the staff.
However, if we were rating the interior design of the store, oh boy! In a few words this is a very boring and dull interior design. I have seen many other Acne stores around the world and this one is just not interesting. Maybe the interior designer was trying to do something super clean, and minimal but it just lacks of excitement.
