1.0 star rating 1/12/16 Very disappointed in the holiday return policy at Norman's Hallmark. I made a purchase in early December for a Christmas gift. Today I went into return the item because it is the first moment I had to make the return after being away for the holiday as well as spending a week battling the flu. The sales manager informed me that she could only issue me a store credit even though I provided an original receipt and stated that I was past the 2 week policy. When I contacted the corporate offices the associate (Tammy or Tiffany) informed me that I had been extended a courtesy by even allowing me a store credit. I asked to speak with her supervisor and was told he would not be able to contact me until next week. I also let her know that I would be sharing my feedback online. At that point she threatened me that it would not help matters for me. I do hope those reading this review will take caution when shopping at Norman's Hallmark and be advised that if you would like to purchase gifts you should give them to your recipient immediately since the return policy for holiday gifts is so tight. I myself will not be shopping at any Norman's Hallmark locations and will be sure to encourage friends and family to do the same. This company does not care about customer satisfaction...
Read moreCannot say enough positive things about the Norman's Hallmark Shop sales representative who assisted me today. Not sure I'm spelling her name correctly, but I think it's Brianna or Breanna. She is kind, thoughtful, patient, and a really lovely person. (And she is also hands-down, the best person I've ever had wrap a gift at Norman's ... or any other store.) I've been going to Norman's for years and there have been times I've stayed away because of "sour" personalities; based on my experience today, I'll not hesitate to return. (I think a raise should be in Brianna/Breanna's future!) I also wanted to acknowledge "Morgan" who was very sweet and helpful when I called last night to see if they had a specific Keepsake ornament; Morgan found it (the last one) and offered to hold it for me until I could get there today ... and it was right behind the counter when I got there! :) Good job, Norman's with hiring excellent...
Read moreI have shopped here for years and always with very good service. Today I wanted to use one of the 40% off coupons on a Phillies mug in their recent mailer. They had one blue one but the price was $42.99 instead of the $39.99 in the mailer. The clerk made a phone call to the manager who not only refused to adjust the price but also would not allow the coupon to be used even though it looked identical to the item pictured. She said it was a different shade of blue. I hope that she's happy she made her point. That store will no longer see any of my money...it's probably not a shade of green that they would...
