We purchased a table and 6 chairs on September 17th. We were told the item was on back order and could expect an 8-10 week turn around time. Our sales person was Jorge. He wasn’t upfront about this delay; it wasn’t until I already checked out and made my purchase that I was informed of the back order. We’re 12 weeks out and I still don’t have the table. I’ve tried calling multiple times, and was told that it was sitting in their warehouse in Ohio and that it should be in the next day. This song and dance has been going on for a week. There is never a manager on duty who can provide informative updates. I finally called the scheduling department directly, and was informed that the table is not yet in the warehouse and might be arriving by end of week. The customer service at this location is horrendous. We’ve purchased from RH before, and though their pricing comes at a premium, it includes impeccable, world class service from people who are eager to resolve any issues you might have. Read moreThis location is so unpleasant to shop in. I don't know what crazy commission rules they have but the sales associates are SO territorial. We've been filling our new house in the past 2 years so we've been shopping at RH, C&B, CB2, PB, etc and none of these places are like this Arhaus location. Whichever SA marks you the moment you walk in, they stalk you the entire time you're in the store- even when we politely say we're just browsing and we will ask for help when we need it. They're always like 6 feet away and it makes me uneasy to look at stuff or have any sort of discussions with my spouse. We've also had incidences where another SA will come up and deliberate tell another "Back off, these customers are mine". It's so uncomfortable that we just want to leave ASAP. And it's been like this every single time we go to this store since they moved to Old Orchard that we've finally decided we're going to shop Arhaus online only. It's not...
Read moreThe sales person ensured us that the warranty will cover accidental stains yet, here we are fighting with a warranty company who is extremely rude and clearly finding a way out of fixing the damage. After less than a year….our 5 year warranty no longer exists because they denied the first claim.
Arhaus needs to do better with who they choose to warranty there tables. They push it as “worry free” but you should definitely worry and either skip it entirely or choose to shop somewhere else.
While I originally thought Arhaus was a luxury/high quality brand…I’m almost positive our table material isn’t high quality based on the fact that it stained from a cool glass container. I’d understand if the container was freezing cold or burning hot….
