Daffin's Candies — Local services in Niles

Today I ran into Daffin's Eastwood Mall to pick up a few last minute gifts for Easter. We are loyal Daffin's customers and usually shop at the main store in Sharon, PA. even though we live in Cortland, Ohio. While purchasing my items a young girl and her grandmother rang up my sale. I can't say that they waited on me because the only time the young girl spoke to me was to tell me the total of my purchase. She never acknowledged me, said hello or thank you because she was to busy talking with her grandmother the entire time (I received this information from their ongoing conversation about starting plants in her garage). I will continue to shop at Daffin's, but if this is indicative of the service at the Eastwood Mall I will not be shopping there. If I need an item in a hurry I will shop at Gorant's in the Howland, Plaza. I hope this issue of poor customer will be addressed to the employees. This store has great staff/service 2. If anyone doubts America has the best candy, they need Daffins. Just ask my partner from the UK. He was adamant that american candy couldn't compare to theirs, but GUESS WHAT?! Now we got him hooked for life.
