Zales — Local services in North Attleborough

Staff is very rude! We went in for a simple repair and they made a huge issue and started arguing and talking down to us in front of everyone. The complete opposite of how they’d been acting with all the other customers. We are young and Hispanic while everyone else there was White. We bought a ring less than 3 years ago for over $2600. I’ve had to bring it in 3 times because the band keeps breaking. When I brought it in this time, the associate insisted that I had to pay extra to add more gold because the ring was so old and needed different repairs to improve the quality. When I explained it wasn’t old that we just bought it from them, her manager came over and started arguing with us insisting the ring was old and cheap. Then I asked why wouldn’t they have explained that to us when we bought it from them? They continued to insist that it’s because it was too old and would always have the same problem. So apparently they know they sell cheap quality and force you to get the extra warranty but anytime you bring it in for service they’re going to complain and give you a hard time and insist that you pay for other things to improve the quality of their...

The sales agent that helped me was nice and helped me as much as she could. Everything was fine until the payment process. Took maybe 20minutes to find what I wanted. I tried my credit card and an error came up. So I tried 4 more cards and still the same error. Then the agent called someone on the phone to help and that person suggested we use a gift card to pay. Then we took my credit card to buy a gift card. And that seemed to help. But unfortunately the sales agent entered the wrong amount on the gift card. And still an error come up. Now the store manager has gotten envolved, after 2 hours in the store. I had to purchase another $4 dollars to finish the purchase. But still an error came up. I was buying a Zales ring online and the system kept up with an error. I wanted to have the item shipped to the store. An expensive item I wanted sent somewhere secure. But in the end the system error was that I could not have it shipped to the store and had to have it delivered to my home. Over 2 1/2 hrs with just a sorry and not even a discount off my next item. If I could give no stars I would. The service was horrible. Just because we wore casual work out clothes they did not help us. Every single question we would ask was a "no"or "I don't know". We have been to Zales in the providence mall and they went above and beyond to help us and answer all of our questions. The employee kept giving the other manager-employee looks and when I asked her to look at some earrings they did not even have any alcohol wipes for me to try them on. They just wanted us out of the store. Well, my husband wanted to upgrade his ring and I wanted to buy 2ct studs earrings. We live very close to Emerald square mall and we did not want to drive to Providence cause of the distance. Well we will never go, visit, and spend any money at that specific Zales again. We are definitely gonna be going to the Providence location. If I am gonna spend thousands of dollars they better answer all my questions and provide the service that Zales is supposed to provide.
