El Nopal Mexican Grill — Restaurant in North Las Vegas

You can order vegan there's no vegan menu but you can look at the menu and create something like what I did I ordered a torta let us tomato grill onions. Jalapenos and extra avocado. It was pretty tasty and maybe a salad on the side. But FYI, all the beans, refried, beans etc. Are made with lard and I'm not sure if the rise is made with chicken broth. They're pretty authentic, so is it possibility that they use chicken broth?

So it's pretty cool. I mean you can make that little torta and or you can create a wrap with grill, veggies, avocado you know and and obviously the burrito tortilla. But it's okay though. Especially if you want to eat with other people that they eat meat.

You will find something in the restaurant to veganize it and the restaurant it's really cute.

The decore & service is really good and coffee is cafe de hoya so it has a hint of cinnamon so it's pretty cool.

Let's begin with the nonchalant greeting when walking into the establishment. "Sit anywhere you want." Flimsy menu given after sitting 10 minutes. Tap water with lime served. Extra spicy salsa with chips. Starter tomato base soup was served piping hot with overcooked noodles (extra mushy). Waitress offered my food to two other tables before she got it to me. Store bought Spanish rice served cold on a heated plate, the watered-down refried beans extra salty, and tasteless ground beef enchiladas with extra spicy green sauce and cold melted cheese (you have to cut it with a knife...oops they don't offer one with meal). Garnishment of the plate is a sliced orange with black spots and wilted parsley sprig. Now, the kitchen staff must have a party going on because the loud Spanish hip hop selections overpowered the traditional Spanish music in the dining area. First time coming to this establishment. Came to this location thinking it would have what they advertised but nope it does not. They sell carne asada with moles but don’t carry nopales and sell tostadas de ceviche with no avocado. Once asked the worker , she stated that owner doesn’t bring it to the business . How sad. Why would I go to eat at a Hispanic place that sell Mexican food and advertise it but don’t sell it . Hope owner really read this and stock his restaurant with what he/she advertised. Quality of food is below average and presentation as well. Taste very ordinary, nothing special or evening wanting to come back. Won’t recommend this place and won’t be coming back .
