Horrible experience! I am a frequent patron of this restaurant since it opened. For the last 6 to 7 months I have been to this restaurant almost on a weekly basis. I usually spend between $40 and $60 every time I go. Recently, there has been a couple of young ladies that greet you at the restaurant for takeout who have such bad attitudes. Today, it was absolutely astonishing how the young ladies carried themselves and exemplified how good customer service is not one of the main priorities of this establishment. There is a Hispanic young lady there who always has a bad attitude with customers. I saw another review that said the same thing about this specific young lady.
I ordered my usual with a side of 8 ounce sauce which is 3 dollars. I frequent this restaurant so I know what the portion size is and as I checked my bags the supposedly 8 ounce sauce was only a half of that which was about 4 ounces. I brought it to the attention of the Hispanic young lady and she got so upset and said to me sometimes the kitchen is weird like that and they don’t put the correct amount in the cups. I asked her if they could give me what I paid for which was the 8 ounces and the girl said that she cannot do that. Then I requested a refund and she said she cannot do that either. I asked her why she couldn’t give me my money back if she could not make my food right and she said that there was no manager on duty on a busy Saturday night and the other manager that was there does not speak English so he would not be able to help me. The Hispanic young lady went to the back to find someone else while another young lady came to the front and I asked her if she knee whether or not there were any managers there.
The Hispanic girl came back and saw that I was speaking to the other young lady and she told me not to talk to her and not to ask her anything because I already asked her. Finally, one of the servers told the young lady at the register just to give me my money back and it’s not that serious. She gave me my money back and while she was doing so she told me that they don’t usually do this. They don’t correct orders and they don’t give money back if the orders are wrong. She also said that I should not have asked her any additional questions because I already asked the Hispanic young lady. I was so thrown back by the attitude of these young girls that I really didn’t know what to say.
I believe there needs to be more training for the people who are hired there when it comes to customer service. they even have a big sign at the register that reads, “we have the right to refuse to serve anyone”. I will not go back to this establishment anymore. I will drive all the way across town to go to Hot n Juicy before I drive five minutes to go to Pier 88 in North Vegas. It is a shame that they lost a customer that patronizes this establishment on a regular basis.
Please understand that no one has to deal with such disrespect , such bad customer service, and the lack of managerial oversight at a restaurant on a busy Saturday. This type of service is a liability. This will cause many people to go to other establishments and patronize where they can receive great customer service for the money...
Read moreI will NEVER patronize this establishment again!!!! ABSOLUTELY NEVER. I don’t care which location, I will never go back and pay my money for this disgusting trash! The first time that we took my daughter there for her birthday celebration was in March. The restaurant had only been open for two weeks. They did not have the bar yet, so we couldn’t order wine or any other alcoholic drinks with our meal. I ordered the Lowcountry boil and it was not its greatest at that time. The potatoes were firm and not very soft. The corn was overcooked and the boiled egg had not been boiled as long as it should have been. The crab legs were tasty and the sausage is what gave the boil its flavor. Not to mention, the fried calamari was too chewy and tough. There was a party of six and none of us were very impressed. However, I felt that since the restaurant was newly opened, it deserved a second try. Trial and error, right?
The Friday prior to Mother’s Day my daughter wanted seafood and we called in our order. Again, I ordered the low country boil. I should’ve checked the order before leaving the restaurant. After having gotten home and opened my bag, everything seemed to be great. I didn’t have crab legs, because I substituted them with mussels. I ate my shrimp which was very bland And overcooked. Again, the sausage was flavorful because it was a smoked sausage. I was upset that the corn was still overcooked and the potato was too firm. Much to my disappointment and disgust, the mussels were extremely dirty, full of membrane and unclean. The pictures speak for themselves. Ewwwww They smelled extremely fishy. I don’t know who’s cooking in the kitchen, but perhaps they need to fire the entire kitchen staff of cooks, or they are going to have a whole lot of complaints from customers, or there’s going to be an unfortunate event where a customer becomes sick from the uncleanliness of the food. I don’t think this restaurant is going to last long. Moving forward, they will never earn my business again. I live close to that restaurant, but I will travel clear to Boulder Highway on Flamingo to get my seafood boil from Cajun Crab. Cajun Crab is WELL WORTH THE DRIVE!!!! Pierre88 is NOT...
Read moreA seafood boil is pretty much the same all around. The thing that makes it better is the service and atmosphere. Im sure this location can use a revamp. Server Lindsey seem like she was always in a rush even though she only took our order and brought water. Someone else from the back had brought our actual order. We had asked for things to help crack open the crab legs, but we never received any. When asked "how is everything" before either of us could answer she'd be walking away. The paper used for the table soaks through easily too. I was being extremely careful to not tear it.
Menus are very dirty and should be changed out. The laminate has split and sauce has made its way into the cracks. The drink menu was never offered. When requested, all it was was a flimsy sheet in a clear folder page protector. Both menus should be redone and the drink menu should be professional rather than regular printer paper with standard lettering.
Bathrooms, gross. No one has restocked the restrooms (toilet paper, toilet sheets), they smelled terrible, and it's extremely cramped. As well as the baby changing station latch being broken which left it permanently open. Even less space to stand. Trash on the floor as well as graffiti scattered around the walls.
Im sure this is just a location thing. I'm sure there's other chains in the area that take pride in their restaurant and staff. The only thing in mind is if they can't keep the simple things clean, then how well is the food...
