My original review was that I absolutely loved this place. Since going there more and more, I began to dislike it more and more. My kids still love this place so much...what kid wouldn't love a toy store? But I do have to complain about a couple things. One, prices are kind of high for everything. You can buy similar things if not the same stuff at another store for a cheaper price. Secondly, anything like slime and putty (which they have a lot of) always seems to be expired or even no slime in the containers because it has sat so long that it's evaporated or something. I spent $7 on a slime that my daughter picked out for herself as one of her toys and once we got home and got it opened, there was nothing in it. We immediately called the store but they couldn't do anything unless we has a receipt. We unfortunately didn't get a receipt that time but it's kind of odd that even though we just bought it and contacted them right away (within 15 minutes of leaving the store) that they still couldn't help us? Such a waist of $7 and it really sad little girl. We recently bought a putty and it was a little dry and crusty. We also got paint and the paint was dried out as well. I bought a bunch of toys including a $2 slinky and a toy with a sticker on the bottom that said $5. They charged me $13 for the slinky and $8.50 for the toy. I paid with a $100 bill. They gave me the change and the receipt. Thats when I noticed they over charged me for the 2 items. I showed the girl and she apologized and said ill refund you and then gave me a gift card. I said I live out of state and a gift card does me no good. She said sorry thats how they do it. They mistakenly over charged me and took my money and 2 minutes later wouldn't refund me. Very disappointed in this toy store. Bought a magnetic chalkboard/whiteboard with magnetic alphabet pieces for teaching--the alphabet pieces barely stick, the chalkboard won't erase and the surface of the whiteboard is too slick so the marker doesn't mark properly on it. Tried to take it back for in-store credit and they said that "technically it's not defective, because you can technically still write on it" and "that's just how this product works." So, it's meant to work very poorly? And you can't return things after you open them even if they are subpar? And you don't get to try it out beforehand?
