I think the AC was either off or broken. It was hotter than 80 degrees in there it seemed like so I didn’t stay to eat. This sandwich was the only thing I ate today and I’m pretty sure I have food poisoning now; my stomach hurts so badly. The gal running the drive thru was setting sandwich ingredients and sauce bottles on the counter where the sandwiches are built. I ordered the cold cut combo sandwich. The bread was so over baked that it was like eating a crouton. (Italian herbs and cheese). I asked if I could get one that wasn’t burned, but most of them were visibly black on top. The Diet Pepsi was getting so much co2 that it took more than 5 minutes to fill my large cup because I had to keep waiting for the fizz to die down. The two gals were nice, but seemed very inexperienced and very overwhelmed with how many orders they got (around 3 pm today). I haven’t had an issue at this location, but I’ve also never seen someone place meat and veggie ingredients like that on the sandwiches building counter at subway rather than just writing down the order on a slip of paper; so it makes me wonder just how much cross contamination...
Read moreI would gladly give this Subway 4 or 5 stars if they would just change a couple things. I've been going to this particular franchise for over 10 years and during that time their drive-thru intercom system has always been a piece of garbage. I literally have to repeat my order 2 or 3 times before the person on the other end can get my order right. I don't know if it's the intercom, the headsets or if it's because someone had the brilliant idea of putting the drive thru right next to a busy highway but I really wish you would get it figured out. My other complaint is that Subway prints you a 73 foot long receipt for a 6 inch sandwich. Seriously? Subway is probably the primary cause of deforestation in this country. I don't need a receipt for a sandwich. I'm not planning on returning it. Please, please, please just ask me if I want a receipt before you cut down another tree. It's totally ridiculous. The staff have always been great to work with, I just feel like the owner of this franchise needs to save some money on paper and re-invest it in a new intercom system. Problem solved. Read moreOrdered online. The app said my order would be done at 1:05. My wife walked in at 1:05 they hadn't even started our order yet. They said they'd bring it out to us when we were done. We waited 15 minutes and no food. So I went in. They asked if I had an online order. I said yes. To my disappointment, they hadn't even started my order. They told me it was really busy. I told them I knew that because I'd watched about 10 cars go through the drive through while we were waiting. Another lady came in, they asked her if she had an online order and she asked why? They told her it's faster if you order online. I laughed and told her that's not true I've been waiting for 20 minutes for my order. All in all, it took 30 minutes more than the time the app said it would be ready. So all together, it took 45 minutes from the time I got my order to finish it. Ridiculous. All they offered me was an apology and a nice day. As a former fast food manager, this is unacceptable. An offer of some cookies or drinks would have been nice. If I could give them 0...
