Harbor Freight — Local services in North Olmsted

If I could give the North Olmsted location 0 stars, I would. After going to this store for YEARS, and spending a LOT of money (which is hard to do since everything is so cheap), I can say they have lost a customer. I will from this point on NEVER do business with this company ever again. I recently went in for a mechanics bench. Brought the slip to the cashier, who ensured that they had the bench in stock and asked someone to grab it. The bench was on sale, but it wasn't ringing up as such. I didn't have my phone on me at the time to bring up the email I got that had the sale price, so it was basically there word vs mine, and they were not willing to let me use any of the stack of coupons on the checkout counter. No big deal, I understand, they need to see it. Since I didn't have my phone, I drove home 20 minutes to go and grab it (in the middle of a pretty sever storm, might I add). Get back to the store, grab the same slip (I wanted the bench in BLACK, so I made sure to grab the BLACK one). The cashier then tells me that someone has to get it, and that it might take a few minutes. 20 minutes later, they wheel it out. I present my phone, they change the price, and then I realize that they brought out the wrong color. I asked them if it was black, and they said it was BLUE instead. No big deal, but I personally wanted black to go with other items in my garage. The person who wheeled it out offered to go in the back and check for the correct color, but was stopped by the cashier (the same one who helped me both times), who informed him that she KNEW they had NO BLACK benches in stock.... At this time, I thanked them for their time and walked out. She knew BOTH TIMES that A.) I wanted it in black, and B.) that they DIDN'T HAVE THEM IN STOCK, and yet she allowed me to not only drive back home to get my phone to PROVE that the item was on sale, but then allowed me to sit, waiting, in the store for 20 minutes while she KNEW they were bringing out the WRONG item. Why? Why would you waste someone's time doing this? Granted, I get the sale situation, it's no big deal. I even understand that something like it being a different color, in the grand scheme of life really is NOT that big of a deal, I truly get that, but WHY waste my time KNOWING that you don't have the item in stock? Just TELL ME! I wouldn't have been mad. Now, however, I can say that because over an hour and a half of my time was wasted, I will NEVER do business with Harbor Freight again, and will be telling anyone and everyone that will listen what poor customer service the company has. Super disappointed in the experience, and how the quality of the store has gone...

If you need tools that are well made and are priced nicely go here. If you like getting something free like a tape measure or screwdriver with a purchase go here. If you like getting and using coupons for stuff like tools, tool storage, plumbing supplies, welding supplies, air compressors and supplies and other such things go here. The prices are very nice. The products are very well made. My mom and I bought a hand truck for my dad to help transport heavy items up and down stairs that was perfect for our needs and ended up getting a great deal. The staff was very helpful with everything and even helped us get it in our car. The bigger stores are ok for some stuff but this place is great for tools. Yes the brands aren't ones that are big name brands but they are quality products that...

This is the worlds greatest Harbor freight location. Not only is it the worlds greatest staff they even help me out when im filming my youtube videos to make sure i find the best deals and discounts. in the store

HFT is my go to first stop when i need anything related to building or maintaining my car, home or tree house!

My only complaint is that they don't carry more items. Granted they have everything for the tool box. and more but I would love to see a selection of extras like shower handles or toilet handles, separate led bulbs for replacing in the shop instead of just full light bars

Again this is a minor complaint just based off of how much money I have saved with them and I will continue going to my favorite store...
