Another area thrift store going downhill fast.
I don't know what's happened to this Goodwill in the last couple of months but the prices have nearly doubled. The shoes used to be no more than $9, now 50% of the shoes on the shelf are $16. The shirts were usually priced between $5-7, there are now more shirts priced at $10 then there are priced at $6. These aren't all the name brand ones either. Worn down and stained Walmart brand shoes for $16 That you can get new at Walmart for $20. Old navy dress shirts for $10 that cost $15 new. Every higher end brand, Nike, under armour, eddie bauer, ralph lauren.. All at least $10.
I'm not sure if this is because savers has been closed due to a fire so this Goodwill thinks they have no competition? Well savers reopening in February and a st vincent de paul store is opening up down the street in March so get your act together Goodwill.
I frequent this store at least 3 times a week and it seems there's never anything new on the shelf especially when it comes to men's clothing. It looks like they are running out of rack space in the men's section, maybe because nobody is buying anything because the prices are ridiculous.
Last week I noticed the guys outside that handle donations were loading pallet after pallet of donations onto a semi trailer so I asked them if those donations were going to the outlet and was told yes. So apparently most of the donations this store gets never even see the shelf and just get loaded up and brought to the outlet....

Found several treasures such as home decoration, bedding, household/kitchen items, clothing, nick nacks. Boutique quality clothing items such as Cato, cold water creek, etc. Many items still in original packaging. This is my first stop before shopping anywhere else. Thumbs up to store management for great selection of items and great prices. Thumbs up to the sales staff for good costumer services..it shows- their parking lot is always full. My favorite goodwill...
Read moreWent to the new location with my 3 year old. Staff was incredibly rude and when I went to check out my baby had picked out a 2$ toy. The cashier insisted she needed to take it to the back for a new barcode and when she brought it back it had a new price of $5 on it. She said the system updated the price. But I know for a fact that's not how pricing works at goodwill. And my baby badly wanted the toy so I still bought it so she would not get upset. But this was completely bullsh*t and I won't be...
