I'll try to keep this short😬 Today 8-17-23, I ordered a El Jalisco Special with extra cheese online. My total was different than what I had to pay in person. I asked I had to pay more when the extra cheese is listed as $1.50. I was also charged a To-Go order feešŸ¤” I was never rude and said that needs to be changed online. The girl rudely said yeah, I'll let them know. I get home 25 minutes later to realize there's NO cheese on my food when it's suppose to be included and I paid for extra. I call the restaurant to speak with a manager. No manager on site. When asked what was the issue, I explained without rudeness or anger. The girl proceeds to tell me she was the one who was at the takeout window and there was cheese on my meal. I said I looked and there isn't any at all. She says extremely rudely, "Do you want to come back here for some cheese?!" I said I'll call back to talk with a manager. A few minutes later she calls back with a completely different and apologetic tone. She says, I talked to the cook and he says he DIDN'T put cheese on. We're so sorry. Do you want to come back? I said I'm too far away now. I told her I didn't appreciate how she spoke to me earlier and basically acting like I'm hard up for cheese when I wanted my meal done right with it's ingredients. The reason I went ahead and wrote this is because I'm tired of being disrespected by these places and still suppose to spend my money with them??? No way! The attitude from the start wasn't called for when I never got rude. There are hundreds more of Mexican restaurants that serve the same thing with a smile. I'll be passing this on to my family and friends as well.

Highly disappointed again. This place quickly became my favorite when it first opened. It was great up until about 6 months or so ago. Since then EVERY single time I've been here (at least 7 times) in the last few months there has been a problem or multiple problems, ranging from waitors not understanding a lick of english leading to orders being completely made wrong or the wrong food being brought to us, dirty dishes, finding metal shavings in our cornbread and being told they would take off 50% of the bill for food that not a single bite was taken from, cold food, bad service, rude service, ants on tables, poor food quality and recently seems that some food has been swapped out to noticably cheaper/worse substitutes. I keep coming back hoping that the last time was just a fluke but I've been burned too many times now and won't be back. Guess I'll be going back to La Casa..

Our drink order was taken quickly, then chips and salsa arrived on the table, and soon our beverages. It didn't seem much longer before our food arrived, hot and looking amazing. We had tacos and a Molcajeta Azteca, both came with a side of refried beans and rice. The Molcajeta also came with three flour tortias (ask for more with this entree, as there is a lot of broth). We could have both shared this as a single dish. There is also a seafood version. Everything was delicious and the service was nearly perfect.

Highly disappointed again. This place quickly became my favorite when it first opened. It was great up until about 6 months or so ago. This past weekend our family went out to dinner here. We have always loved this place since the day they opened. Staff has always been so friendly and the food and margaritas have always been amazing. Unfortunately, this past weekend we had a terrible experience with management. His name was Jose. My fiance and I each ordered a margarita. Mine was great but his tasted kind of funky. He asked our wonderful wastress if he could get another one bc his did not taste good. The 2nd one comes and it happens to taste super soapy... so he didnt drink that one either. Told our waitress about it and said its okay, can you just take it off the bill. (At this point we are all finished with our dinner) Fast forward we get the check, his margaritas are still on there. Manager comes over and asks what he can do for us. I proceeded to tell him about the margaritas and what happened. He tells me that it is "company policy" that he can only take one off. I said, so you want us to pay for the margarita that we didnt drink, would you want to pay for soapy margartias that you didnt drink?? He proceeded to tell me again it was company policy??? I asked him to show me this so called company policy and where this is written down at. Which he couldnt do. I mean come on thats the most rediculous thing i have heard. Personally i have worked in the restaurant business for over 15 yrs. I said that to him he responded well, you havent worked at this one! Seriously?? Our bill was over 100$ and our family has spent quite a bit of money at this restaurant, and he is so worried about taking $9 off of our bill?? JOSE was probably the worst manager I have ever came across. So rude and has absolutely NO customer service. Because of this manager, and how we were treated, he has ruined our experience and we will never be back. (Our server was great and she was still tipped 25%) I refuse to be treated that way over something we had no control over and to pay for something that was their fault. By the way, we ended up paying for it. I couldn't argue anymore especially since there we had kids at the table. Such a shame that a great restaurant like that is ran by such poor management. It wasn't about the $9 it was the principle of paying for a drink that...

First time going to this restaurant. Was seated quickly, as it was not busy (was there about 3:10/15pm on a Sunday), and given menus. Waitress came just after we (party of two) were seated and asked what we wanted to drink and to eat. Just having sat down and still looking at the menu, we were not ready to order food, but ordered drinks. While looking at the menu, someone came by and dropped off chips, salsa, and some white sauce. Thought it was white cheese dip at first, but upon inspection it was more salad dressing based. Drinks came not to long after the chips were delivered. We put our order in at this time. Didn't take long to receive food. I ordered a combo plate of an enchilada and chimichanga with rice and beans. The chimichanga I ordered was more like a burrito with meat. It was not fried at all. I was looking forward to the meal, as I don't always eat fried foods. The other person ordered an enchilada with rice and beans. Overall, we were both unimpressed with our meals and didn't finish them. A couple of minutes after finishing, the waitress came by and took our plates away. We then waited for the waitress to return with the bill. She was talking with a group of other employees. I went to ask her for our bill, but before I could get to them they had all parted. We finally were able to wave her down and asked for the bill. The bill took at least a couple of minutes or longer as when the waitress left she was seen talking some more (not to tables) and took the long way around to the register. We finally got the bill, paid, and left. The person I was with said that they had come to this restaurant before and said they will charge extra for everything. Example: Chips and salsa are given when you sit down, but if you want more chips or salsa you will get charged for it. The manager is really rude and doesn't communicate with people well.. Sat down waiter took our order and the order was brought out but I never received my order I waited for the waitress to come over so I could let him know but 15 Minutes by and he still never even checked on us or anything.. So I flagged another waitress to tell our watress to come over he comes back and says he will be right over.. 10 minutes later still no waitress so I go to get a manager and explain to him what happen he says okhell will take care of it... waiting another 20 minutes still no waitress but the other one walks by and asked did our waitress ever show up and we proceed to tell him no and my friend says she wasn't pleased with her meal so she didn't want it.. So he takes it back and I'm still waiting on my meal and the waitress comesback with the bill I'm like whete is my food and you are giving us a bill? So he goes to say the manager cancelled the order so I'm questioning why would you cancel my order? So the manager comes back over and proceeds to say he canceled ny order because my friend sent her food back and I ask what does that have to do with me? He states well if you going to start sending food back I cancelled your food so I said again shy would you cancel my food and then not tell me and I'm sitting here waiting and hungry .. he proceeds still ignoring ehqt I'm asking and refuses to make my food because he wasn't happy that my friend didn't like her meal... It took for another manager to speak with him to get things resolved cause he was so rude. Needless to say I still never received food and left hungry because he was so rude..smh.. worst...
