We visited Blocker's Furniture to check out possibilities of new furniture. As soon as we walked through the door coincidentally with another couple, we were approached by a salesperson. We have the person's name and card. We expressed that we were only looking for future possibilities, and would not be making a purchase that day. But if we had changed our mind, we would call or find this sales person. We joked with the other couple how quickly the pack hunters pounce and don't let go. We then went our own way. We spent a good amount of time walking around Blocker's. Everywhere we went, the salesperson seemed to be only yards away. At first, it wasn't so obvious as they appeared to be fluffing pillows that were out of place and such. But no matter where we went in the store, our stalker refused to give us space and privacy to shop without pressure. At one point we were asked about our friends. We informed our stalker that the other folks were not with us. Our stalker then called down to another predator informing them of the other possible victims that were free to be pounced upon. I feel bad that I might have unleashed this upon them. I went to the mens room and lost track of the wife. But in this case, our stalker pointed her out to me, ironically it did help me find her. It was creepy that this person always knew exactly where we were, ready to swoop in for the kill. We continued on for a little bit longer. But enough was enough. We decided to leave and tried to take a route as to not be intercepted before the door. Blocker's seemed like a nice store that we did spend time shopping. They had some things we were interested it. But the creepiness of being stalked from the second we walked in the door, until we left, made it unacceptable for us to shop in this store. They very well might have lost possible sales by allowing these predatory tactics upon customers. They also convinced me to write this review and give them a lower rating than the actual store itself deserves.The good news is there are plenty of furniture...
Read morePoor quality and customer service. Power Recliner sofa loveseat set delivered April 2022. Sofa recliner stopped working only 5 weeks later. Their tech Lou evaluated and determined bad motor stating they would order the part and a tech will call for appointment the next week to replace it. I have contacted customer service (Chris) numerous times and was told there was nothing they could do about it that it was on back order. I checked to see if the same sofa was coming into stock and it was and I asked if I could have that motor but Chris told no. I was told by Chris that she would contact Parker House for ETA of motor and that she would email me and that was months ago and I still have not heard from anyone I have checked all my email boxes. Never a phone call either. I had informed Chris the reason we bought the recliner sofa is that my husband just had an extensive back surgery with instrumentation and needed something he couldn’t sit comfortably. I have never written a review before but I have never had service this bad and poor quality. I will never shop at Blockers again. Once you have bought your furniture and they drop you like a hot potato. We also have the extended warranty which they told us does not cover this issue so that was a waste of money as well. Buyer beware.

In order to get the order, I purchased an attachment for my Jeep, that would allow me to get the coffee table back to Naples… I drove to Immokalee and waited to have the service person bring the table out. Waiting for quite a while, they noticed the frame was damaged and cracked to the point, it was unusable. Couldn’t believe I waited so long with countless promises and excuses for such a long wait for the order to come in… I was expected to pick it up and finally getting to the point, the product was more than damaged. Now waiting months again, promised of delivery time being pushed back… it’s almost here! Having received a phone message from Barbara Blocker, I’m expected to drive out there and pick up the coffee table… They agreed on a free delivery after I went through the last episode and now expect me to make an over 2+ hour trip to pick it up again. To my surprise, she had the Gaul to mention my first negative review and demand I remove it! REALLY? Demand I remove a negative review? Do I have to keep putting up with promises and not post a review? Isn’t that what reviews are for??? I do not want to put up with this… very near a year now… paid in full… no more. My credit card has refunded the payment. The original coffee table was destroyed and I had no contract to keep replacements coming with no delivery but now pick ups at my cost and driving time.
