I did the parasailing thing for the first time this week with my one of my sons. We had a blast. The professionalism delivered in a laid back manner fits perfectly for what could seem like a dangerous activity. Farris and his mate Colby were personable, friendly, and absolutely knew what they were doing. The view of the island was spectacular. This is probably the best thing I did all summer. At first I was nervous because it was my first time in the air. The workers were so nice and helped me not be so nervous. Once you are up there it is the most peaceful thing ever its just you the water and whoever is up there with you. It is a 15 minute ride and it is $80 per person but it is so worth it. We were going to parasail for the first time with this crew. We paid, boarded, and rode out. Before anybody got a chance to go up, our captain spotted lightning so he checked the radar, watched the storm, and called it. We had to go back in without getting to parasail. While that was disappointing, we appreciate their commitment to passenger safety. They issued refunds for all of the guests and offered alternative days and times to come back.
