I ordered the Healthy Bee summer trio, which consisted of a wrap sandwich, quinoa tabouleh salad, and a strawberry peach smoothie for a price of approx $20. The sandwich was my favorite part of the meal, as it was lightly-dressed. The negative aspect was in the quantity of the filling. It was mostly romaine lettuce and was very light on chicken or other fillings. For a standalone price of around $10 I would expect more. Definitely not “protein packed”.
The smoothie was fresh and light, just very basic blended fruit. Refreshing as advertised.
The quinoa tabouleh was inedible and laughably small. It seems whoever developed this recipe for the restaurant has never had fresh tabouleh before. Opening the lid I was hit with strong onion odor, like the onions were about 20% of the makeup of the stuff, and had definitely been macerating for hours if not days. Pitifully small content of herbs, and I didn’t even bother trying it- I don’t want to taste onion for the rest of the day.
First experience here, so I’ll make note that the sandwiches are ok for the $ but will skip everything else. Just too expensive for the quality and...
Read moreThe food is always delicious. I order through a delivery company, so I have never had an encounter with an employee at this location, until I found something strange in my wrap. As I am biting into my chicken wrap, I feel something on my lip. I wipe it off and notice that it is a lady bug. I decide to inspect my wrap and find two additional bugs hanging out in the sprouts. I call twice to speak with the manager, who is away both times and instead I get the pleasure of speaking to a young lady who comforted me with the words "wow, yeah, that would suck" after telling her of my encounter...then silence. Was one of my favorite lunchtime places to eat, but a bit disappointed that perhaps the employees are not trained to take complaints or they simply...
Read moreFood was overpriced for what you get, paid $20 for one meal. Ordered online a gluten free Mediterranean wrap with no black olives and a regular raspberry banana smoothie, but the wrap still had black olives so I had to pick them out leaving it barely filled, half of it was just olives and received a small smoothie although I paid full price for a regular. The smoothie was okay but not blended well, it was very grainy and had chunks of ice in it, was constantly having to chew it instead of drinking it like a normal smoothie. Portions are also very small, I ordered a side of pita bread and hummus and got 4 tiny pieces of bread definitely not enough to get very much of the hummus. The food was not bad but I was definitely hoping for more after...
