The dresses seem high priced, but when you take into account the quality of the construction and the fabric, they're well worth the price. I may be wrong, but I think the clothing they sell may also be locally constructed, so if that's the case, the people who constructed the garments would be paid U.S. wages.
The dress I purchased from them two years ago is comfortable enough to wear on a regular basis (as in, once a week), and can easily be dressed up or down with a blazer and nylons or a bright belt and fun tights. It's a classic piece that's really well constructed, and is well worth the $180 I saved up to purchase it.
Two years later, and it's as in good of shape as the day I bought it -- no popped stitches, ripped seams, faded dyes, or worn fabric. Plus, there's enough excess fabric along the seams that if I lose (or gain) weight, I can have the dress altered.
Honestly, I think it's less that their clothing is too expensive and more that we're used to throw-away clothing from big-box stores that degrades in a year or less because it's poorly constructed out of cheap fabric in overseas factories that can pay less and don't have to maintain U.S....

Clothes also comes in a wide variety of sizes, and theres a nice sale going on. Theres even a bike rack out front as an added bonus for us bike commuters! Will definitely be back!
