Ordered a leather sectional from Macys furniture in Olympia. Great in store customer service, very helpful staff and what luck the couch we wanted was in stock during this supply chain shortage. I was super excited that we would have our new sectional in a matter of a week and in time for Christmas. The delivery and set up however was a nightmare. First of all the delivery guys left our driveway a mess of Styrofoam, and we have a partially gravelled driveway so that will be there forever or until the wind blows sufficiently for many days to blow it all away, great for the environment guys.Then the sectional latches were not lined up, so part of the sectional rocked when you sat on it. The delivery guys were trying to get me to accept this as how it was going to be, so call me a problem customer, but I did not just pay $4000 for a sofa that is going to rock back and forth because the legs do not balance right due to misplaced connection latches. They finally give me a number to call to get this resolved, the guy on the other end of the line tells me 7-14 days, and I specifically confirm with him that it will be such a short wait since I know the supply chain is causing furniture delays being that we had previously waited 4 months for bedroom furniture at a different furniture store. He assures me 7-14 days and that we should keep the unattacheable sectional until the new one is delivered since I was pretty upset that I would not have a sofa for Christmas. Anyway about 2 days into our 7-14 day wait, my husband gets a text saying the sectional will not be in for 3 months. Furniture stores STOP lying to your customers if something is going to take longer or may possibly take longer tell your customers. We can understand there are production and supply chain slow downs, what we can't understand or accept is being lied to. I will probably shop for furniture here again because this was my one and only bad experience with them, hopefully the next experience will be better, or I will have to drive all the way to Tacoma for furniture, since Olympia has so...

This is our second Macy’s sectional, we went back because we loved our first one so much but after 10/12 years it was time for a new one. We purchased the couch with a matching ottoman several weeks ago. We had a 8-12 week wait time for it to be made and delivered, no big deal. The couch was delivered towards the 12 week mark and the ottoman was the wrong color/fabric. Before the delivery drivers left they called and had us talk to Macy’s and we were told us a new one would be delivered on a specific date (which was 6 days later). Slightly inconvenient but mistakes happen so whatever. I waited around all day on the day the correct ottoman was supposed to be delivered. It never showed up. The holidays came and went and life was crazy and we called Macy’s the beginning of the year and were trying to figure out what was happening. The customer service was terrible. The sales lady was rude and acted annoyed that we had an issue that needed to be dealt with. After 3-4 calls we were told out card would need to be charged for another ottoman but after it was delivered they would refund it. (Ummm....no!!) Macy’s does not want to make this right. Also the large cushion on our chaise lounge side of the couch has a bunch of loose stitching and I think that is unacceptable for a brand new piece of $2000 furniture. I even left to check out a different mattress store just to make sure I was making the right decision (since Macy's was the first place we went) & ended up running back to the Macy's Furniture store before they closed because I regretted not getting the mattress from Macy's! The staff was great, even stayed late to help us with our purchase. Sales crew were very helpful but not in that weird, overly aggressive, stalking you around the sales floor like some places can be. Gave us space to get comfortable & make our own decisions but we're available to answer questions & give great, honest advice.
