My husband and I were a little hesitant to try this place because of the reviews, and our experience ALMOST followed suit, but our server Dominick saved the day..
We were originally sat in a booth, where we waited for 10 mins. We noticed a table next to a window that was empty, because we hadn’t been greeted yet, we asked to move, little did we know the request would change how the whole night turned out…
Dominick was extremely attentive and personable. He gave us good recommendations and checked on us frequently. I had the mushroom scampi and veggie pasta, my husband had fried oysters and the drunken chef. The food was very good. I also had the blueberry mojito which was refreshing, flavorful and strong.
The dining room was clean, and nicely decorated. Overall we had an amazing experience, and will definitely be back next time we visit.

The rest of this review is more so for the management team:
From where we sat we watched the booth we had originally been at get utterly neglected, as well as several other tables… the people who got sat at the booth after us were there for 12 minutes before I mentioned to our server that they hadn’t been greeted yet.. Dominick took them waters and notified the server.
At this point I was invested and watching the booth (as well as the rest of her section) the entire time. I wish I was exaggerating, but it took over an hour (once the booth had been sat) for appetizers to be delivered, and by the time we were leaving the restaurant they were just getting entrees delivered.
One of her other tables was sat before us and they received their appetizers when we received our entrees… and I watched her deliver a Shirley temple with all the grenadine sitting in the bottom of the glass..
The Shirley temple thing is subjective, that could be how you guys serve them, or how the guest asked for it… but I’ve never seen it done like that… so just wanted to mention it
My husband and I watched three separate tables receive poor service, and we were almost one of them…
I’m hoping my review can be an opportunity for some coaching, because again, we almost went somewhere else for our last vacation dinner because we read that the service wasn’t the best.
We just lucked out by asking to sit at a...
Read moreOur family of 6 had the worst dining experience this week! We arrived at 7pm and got quoted a 25 minute wait. They have a lovely patio area and outdoor bar area where we waited. Our table was ready right on time and we were seated. That's when everything went wrong.
We waited over 5 minutes to be greeted by our server and she was visibly frustrated when she arrived at the table. She commented that she was in the kitchen fighting for the food at the table next to us. She didn't apologize for the delay but said don't worry, I'm ready to fight for your food also.
Because of the wait, when she arrived at the table we were ready to order all our food. We ordered two appetizers, soups and entrees. The soups and bread arrived promptly with our drinks. But after that, the service disappeared. We then waited an hour for the first appetizer to arrive which was an order of 6 raw oysters on the half shell. An hour for raw food to be delivered??
We inquired about the other appetizer and she said the kitchen was slammed and she had no estimate on how much longer it would be. All of the tables seated in the larger dining room area appeared to be waiting for long stretches with no food coming out of the kitchen as well.
At 90 minutes after being seated, we still didn't have our 2nd appetizer or any entrees. It was now after 9pm and we had two kids with us. We asked our server for an insight or estimate on how much longer it would be and she said she had no idea. We asked to speak with the manager and she cheerfully replied, yes please!
The manager never came over after waiting another 5 minutes so my husband went to the front to look for them. Upon speaking to the manager, we had no further answers. He said it would be at least another 20 minutes but don't quote him on that. My husband told him it was too late and that we needed to leave and couldn't wait any longer. The manager replied that he understood and didn't blame us. He remarked that their kitchen is really struggling and didn't have any solutions to offer us.
So after over 2 hours at the restaurant after being seated, we were still hungry and incredibly disappointed. We were so looking forward to this meal and it was really a...
Read moreFood was excellent, service was spot on, and we only had to wait 15 mins for a table and they texted my phone directly so the possibility of name confusion was eliminated.
I never had lobster before, and was excited to they offered a half tail as a starter and I will definitely be going back for a full tail at some point in the future.
The staff was very professional, clean and friendly. They greeted us right away, and as we walked out the door. I always keep a mental note for restaurants that wish you well before you reach the exit. Very courteous!
Our server, Alison was so sweet and she made our night even better. She was very laid back and anticipated our needs before we had to ask.
My favorite, and probably the smallest detail, was the fact she brought us bread and the bread had the butter under it so it was nice ans warm and melted on the hot rolls. The lobster was great but what is going to bring me back there were the sourdough bread rolls and warmed butter. 100%.
I also tried the lavender martini, which I wasn't completely sold on. I'm a fan of traditional martinis but anytime I see a lavender cocktail on the menu I usually give it a shot. My fiancé had the berry mojito with a prosseco float that we both definitely enjoyed more than the lavender martini, but boy was it pretty!
The atmosphere was so cozy, and they had spacing for empty tables as per covid. They were covid safe!
Oh! And not to mention how awesome and adorable their oyster bar is. I will not eat a raw oyster so I can't give comments about oysters but they have a walk up bar for fresh shucked oysters if that's your thing.
Loved our dinner here, we can't stop telling our friends and family about this place.
Also, they kept our table clear and cleaned for us while we ate, which was so wonderful. No one likes to sit in a mess while they enjoy a romantic dinner. Speaking of the tables, I included a picture, the tables had so much character. Real shells and even little crab claws in sand. Amazing, the details here.
I give 5 stars even though I didn't like my drink. And it's nothing on them, lavender is just a delicate flavor pairing with vodka. I definitely enjoyed my...
