On 11/15/2015 I visited the Orion store to buy a suit. Let me first say the suit looks good and I had no alteration issues.Even though it was a clearance suit it was still quite pricey after alteration fees and all the bell and whistles were added. But that's where the positive experience ends. The sales lady Amanda ,who waited on me, asked me when I needed the suit by. I stated I needed it for 11/27/2015. So she gives me a pickup date and time for Wednesday the 25th at 5pm. I then ask if it can be picked up early or later. She tells me I can call to attempt an early pickup. She also tells me that they are open till 9pm if I can't make it at 5pm. So I attempted to retrieve the suit on Sunday and Tuesday of the 25th and was told it would be Wednesday before it would be done. So after showing up at 6:30 pm on the 25th I find the store closed with a sign stating the holiday hours closing at 6pm on Wednesday. At no time did Amanda or the others I talked with tell me they would be closed early. So on the 27th when I needed the suit I had to be there at 8am when they opened up to get suit. After complaining all they could say was they were sorry. the holiday hours had been posted for about 2weeks they said. Must have posted after my visit. It was not up on the 15th. Gripe one..... So after I wear the suit for 6hrs I come home take the outfit off and find holes.... plural.... in a pair of socks that were purchased with the suit. So back to the store. After they agreed to replace the pair of socks the lady that waited on me kinda got snooty and informed me that they normally don't replace socks that have been washed but this time they would make an exception. .. I'm sorry but who knows where the material has been I always wash socks before wearing them and to have holes after 6hrs of wear is unexceptable. Not sure if I will patronage that...
Read moreWe went in on Sunday, October 11th looking for a whole suit ensemble, shirt tie shoes the whole nine yards. They were busy and it was explained to us that only two employees on the floor, which we were very understandable about. Very tidy store with a great selection! We tried to help ourselves but were pretty lost as we knew we needed measurements so we waited our turn for the blonde Saleswoman to help us.
I didn't catch her name but I didn't find her very helpful. Not very friendly or personable. She did quick measurements at my request and then immediately ran off to help other people that had already been helped by her which I found very off-putting since we'd waited about 15 minutes for her assistance. As it turned out her measurements were way off. I had to go back to the racks and correct that myself. Don't recommend any dealings with her.
Quite frankly at that point we would have left had Andrew not showed up to help. Not sure what his capacity is in the store but let me tell you he has such a shining, outgoing and professional demeanor. High energy and efficient. He immediately made our experience Five Star by finding the right everything for us. All the while juggling multiple customers without making anyone feel like they were waiting. He's truly an asset to this store. So Andrew if you read this, thanks buddy, you gave us a great experience and saved our day! We are very grateful. Best wishes;...
Read moreThe store in Auburn hills is amazing, the staff there really go above and beyond for you. Especially Mogan(one of the managers) and the other girl who helped me I can't remember her name. They helped me get the items I needed for my wedding and wouldn't stop until I had everything I needed and it was perfect, they hunted for a certain tie and even took my info when we couldn't find due to a tagging issue(a aqua tie and sage green tie have the same UPCs) and called me the next day after having one come in. They are truly the definition of customer service. This was a good change from the treatment I received at the Brighton store earlier in the day where I was ignored by the staff then when I did finally get someone to talk to I was told that it wasn't their fault the items were tagged wrong and well you have time before your wedding don't worry about it(my wedding is in just over a month) I have already ordered the tie and it came in wrong once. That is the worst customer service I have ever seen displayed by the brighton store, I will never go back and if it wasn't for the 2 girls at the Auburn hills store I would never go back to men's wearhouse.
