Altira Pool + Lounge — Local services in Orlando

I had the king crab salad and the crab was spoiled. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever put in my mouth. I should have known when it came out and it was very fishy smelling!! But I didn't know any better, I started eating and took a few bites of the crab, which tasted like AMMONIA. I quickly googled crab that tastes like ammonia and learned that means it has gone bad. I told the bartender and asked that she tell the chef right away. She threw the salad in the trash and refunded it but I didn't see her tell anyone!! So I don't know if they corrected the issue and if people got sick. I was worried for days that I was going to get extremely ill from eating that. I'm really disappointed because it's a really cute place and the drinks were good. The chef needs to evaluate the timing and how they keep their seafood before something bad...

Seriously, don't even bother with this one. The pool bar staff doesn't know what they have to drink, they charge you for extra drinks after not giving you a receipt, and now somehow I've been charged twice for the extra drink I didn't buy.

The vibes are very plastic touristy, but if you have a family and want the most watered down versions of a SoFlo beach club, you'll find it here.
