I don’t usually write reviews but I’ve never been so disrespected at a business in my life I have to share. I have been getting dip nail done consistently for the past 3 years and I’ve been to a lot of salons. Every dip nail I’ve had has been finished with a gel top coat, even at this place until recently when the owner did it. It was finished with dip top coat which does not require curing so I was confused when my manicure finished with no curing. This was different for me so I asked if this is gel top coat in which he replied “yes.” Because he said yes, I followed up with “does it need curing?” in which he said “no.” I thought okay maybe it’s a different technique than the ones I’ve gotten the past 3 years. Well 2 days later, my nail breaks when I was opening a door.
I called and complained to have it fixed. I called another salon asking the difference between gel top coat vs dip top coat, which they said the gel top coat lasts longer. When I got there I explained my frustration, the owner was completely unprofessional, talking over me, calling my complaint “stupid”, not letting me speak.
So here are the facts, The ladies that work there are totally nice. I have no issues with them. The owner is not only unprofessional but completely demeaning and reactive when it comes to customer service because in the end, whether I’m right or he’s right… THE NAIL BROKE AFTER 2 DAYS
I am never an individual that likes to cause a scene or make trouble for anyone, but I did not receive the service I was told (i.e. I was told it was gel top coat) and when I said something about it the owner not only did not hear me out but called my complaint “stupid.” Im a doctor, so I am aware of frustrated, and angry patients/customer, and this is not a professional way to handle it.
Hope you have a better time at this...
Read moreI want to start this off by saying I NEVER post reviews so this speaks volumes, but this was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had in a nail salon by far. When I went in for my appointment, it seemed pretty slow so I never expected to feel rushed, but that’s exactly what it ended up being. I had to coach the guy on multiple things he missed during my pedicure that I was so exhausted by the time he got to my manicure which was done in the pedicure chair (extremely uncomfortable, as I’m 5 months pregnant). He didn’t really clean or file my nails or do any prep before applying the nail polish which for my hands and toes was THE WORST PAINT JOB. He made me bleed on multiple toes and fingers, got the paint all over my skin, gave a very lackluster but yet aggressive massage to the point where my skin was red and angry on my legs and arms. Not to mention, when I asked for a basic pedicure and manicure with just regular polish, I felt (cannot confirm) like he was speaking ill of me and was giving me dirty looks as he spoke to his coworkers in another language in between asking me questions. I felt the services got even worse after he found out I wouldn’t be spending $100+ that day. I left super upset, seeing as though it was the first time I’ve gotten my nails done in the past year since I had my daughter. I’ve gone to get my toes done by other places a few times in the last year, just not my hands. I hope people have a better experience than I did, and feel like the money they paid...
Read moreI came here to have a pedicure, I had a 2pm appointment and I was about 15 minutes late, but I did call first. They have a neat package where you can pick the price of your pedicure, they have 4 options ranging from $35-65. I went for the most expensive at $65 which included callus remover, japenese blossom scent bath (they have multiple kits and scents to pick depending what you like), and massage of the feet. It was a nice experience and your nails are automatically painted with gel nails which requires at least 5 coats of polish. What I didn't like was the banter of a language other than English, almost like they were talking about you behind your back. They consistently had their nail staff answer the phone and "pencil" in people which took away from the customers who are getting their nails done. I sat in the pedicure chair for about 1.5 hours which was A LOT of time in my opinion and was even left in the chair with the wax and washclothes to get cold which was about 15 minutes while the person who did my nails attended to someone else. m-eh! there are other nail salons in my opinion who post their prices. A lady even walked in and asked the prices and/or handout and they told her that "we ran out" which is bogus in my opinion as I have previously asked the same and was greeted with a IG message of prices. This should be...
