Oxford Exchange — Local services in Oxford

If you're not from around here, and need a place to shop for, ....well anything. Then Oxford Exchange is where it's at. They have it all, whether it be shopping for groceries, clothes, furniture , home improvement, gifts, games, beauty, job Lol, or even a quick bite or sit down restaurant. They have it all. Just off the interstate, so super easy getting to. Coming from Atlanta, just turn off the exit, then take a left turn, it's your left again onto Oxford exchange blvd. Coming from Birmingham? Turn off the exit , take a right and it's on your left as well! You can't miss it, and even if you do, the Oxford commons is on the other side! You can't lose! There is only one problem that the Oxford exchange has and that's one way in, one way out, but don't worry, there's a little secret way we all go when there's heavy traffic. If you're trying to get back on the interstate, but you just can't get out cause of all the traffic piled up near the restaurants, go all the way to the far end, near Petsmart, HomeDepot, and the restaurant called Gridiron, and get out on the road next to them. Right in between HomeDepot and Gridiron. Once next to the restaurant, get in the right turning lane and it's a yield, so no waiting on that red light! Then it's easy to getting back on the interstate. Just a left or right turn, depending on where you're going. So just remember, when trying to get out of the exchange, just remember what, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy says on the backside in big letters....

Friday Night, January 24, 2025 & not one single Light in the Parking Lot was on. Very scary at closing time!!! My 69yr old Husband suffered a tremendous Fall in the Parking Lot & reinjured his Artificial Hip Replacement & upper Left Femur. He could'nt see well plus he had just had Eye Surgery earlier in the day. He fell on the extremely cold, hard Pavement & couldn't move. I had to call 911. An Ambulance had to take him to the ER. He is in so much pain it is unbearable for him. He is seeing an Orthopedic Surgeon now. The Ambulance had a hard time finding us in the middle of this Dark Parking Lot. 911 asked me to get back in my Car & turn my Emergency Flashers on so they could see us in the Parking Lot. I was so worried that my Husband was going to get ran over by a Car or Truck not seeing him laying in the Parking Lot before the...

Hobby Lobby is a great place to get some art supplies. Mostly sketchbooks. The Master touch sketch books are pretty good to use. The color pencils as well. I would suggest it.

But try and catch the sales over there. Game stop is pretty good, friendly people, there is a Sally's Beauty Supply which is pretty good. I suggest going there for so good quality flat iron and curling irons.

Best Buy have some good deals, got a pc there on Black Friday and a wacom tablet. The geek squad is friendly and will help find a pc that compatible with a drawing tablet. They got some interesting tech inside of the store.

I wish they would open up Rainbow once again. Best clothing store over there.
