The service sucked. We had to ask for silverware and the saucers for the rolls. We ordered salads as appetizers, which did not arrive at our table until after our food was delivered. And that was only because we brought it the attention of not only the lady delivering our main food but to our waitress as well. The food was good but not hot. It was warm but not hot. The music was way too loud during about half of our visit. Our waitress said she would have management come to our table because of the salad issue; but no one showed up. I planned on addressing the loudness of the music to management but was not provided with an opportunity. Our waitress did not even come back to check on us or offer us more to drink after the issue with the salads. Then she brought the ticket and just asked if it was all on one ticket. No offers to get to go containers or to remove some of our plates or anything. We answered her question. We asked for a to go container and informed her that management had not been there. She then says oh they "took the salads off. " Well, a salad is one of the sides they offer as part of the meal. Our waitress did not offer to get us replacement sides. When we got our food, we noticed that one of the "loaded" potatoes was not loaded! Since she never returned to our table, after we received our food, we were not able to address the issue. After the waitress left, from dropping off the ticket, we noticed that the "loaded" baked potato charge was not removed. So, I called her back to our table to address that. She said that it was included in the credit noted on our bill but said that she would get management to our table. We choose to not wait, again, as it was very clear that management had no intention of talking to us. This is the worst service I think I have ever had. If we go back to Texas Roadhouse, it will be a very, very long time! Oh, I almost forgot...... one of the first things was that my drinking glass was just plain nasty! I felt it the minute I took it from our waitress. After taking a close look at it, I found that it was just as nasty inside as outside. I called her back to the table and informed her. She said she would bring another drink. Well, I waited and waited and finally asked my guy for a drink of his. Then someone else brought me another glass of ice water.

Texas Roadhouse! Yes! It is always packed here at the Roadhouse in Oxford Alabama so it is a treat when the wife and I go eat there. So we got in, sat at the bar so we didn't have to wait for a table, which were all being cleared after the lunch rush. Out bartender, Kenslie, was excellent! They brought our drink, and rolls quickly! The rolls! Steaming hot out of the oven and that great cinnamon butter! Mouthwatering! We placed our orders, pork chops, sweet tater and salad for the wife and I had my favorite, country fried chicken, sweet tater and steak fries(to have some to take home for my dogs!). When our food came out it looked amazing. Wife said her sweet tater was piping hot as was her pork chop. My sweet tater and fries were also to hot to eat, perfect! But sadly, when I took the first bite of my long awaited country fried chicken, it was barely still warm! So while it was ok, just ok, I had waited so long to have it again, I just ate it. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't cold, and it was fully cooked and crispy....it just wasn't hot like everything else. While we enjoyed our meals, I was really disappointed. I LOVE Texas Roadhouse and it is always packed so we don't eat there very often so I was bummed that the entré wasn't as good as normal. Will we be back? Of course.... Just do better TR. Oh, and I need to mention, there was a lady sitting in a booth by us that forgot about the step down from the booth to the floor and fell, badly, into the chairs at the bar. There was immediate help there but why would they keep designing their restaurants with that feature? Recipe for continued disaster.

We registered on the waitlist online ahead of time and still had to wait 10 minutes when we arrived. The waitress was nice, but she was not very attentive to take our order in a timely manner. She brought us extra ranch that we didn’t ask for, so she had to take it off our ticket. After waiting for our food for an hour with a restless and hungry toddler, we finally stopped the manager and asked to have our food boxed to go. The waitress said it was coming out. We had to wait another 15 minutes before they finally brought it. From the moment we sat down, it took over an hour and 15 minutes before we even got our food. Before paying, we checked the food and they did not put the cheese on the macaroni and cheese, so we had to send that back and wait even longer. The manager didn’t even offer any discount for the poor service. Overall from the time we checked in to the time we finally left, it took over an hour and half. When we finally got home to eat our food, the fries were overcooked and hard. My toddler wouldn’t touch his food. My husband ordered a medium steak but it turned out to be well done. I would not recommend going here.

Visit Date: 09/10/2023 05:43PM Checkout Time, Server Ashely. Table 132. Ashley our server was great and none of the following review was a result of her efforts. I tipped her 20% on the full amount of my bill which was the full amount of my order even though the food and experience was overall atrocious. The service manager was absolutely useless in providing and solution or accommodation. We arrived hungry and desiring a quick but good meal around 5PM after a long day of scuba diving to eat before heading back to Atlanta, GA approximately an hour fifteen away. When we arrived the restaurant was already fairly busy but we were seated immediately. We were told unfortunately there were no rolls ready but as soon as some came up they would be out. Wanting to eat and go we went ahead and ordered as soon as we were seated. I ordered Ribs and two sides (mashed potatoes and corn). A few minutes after being seated the service manager came round introduced themselves ( a girl, did not catch name) and said if we needed anything to let her know. Our server Ashely came by after about 5 minutes and apologized there were still no rolls said it was a new person cooking them who didn't know how fast they go. At the ten minute mark we did get a hot basket of rolls, again with an apology from Ashley about the delay. At about the 15 minute mark our food came out dropped off by a runner, not our server. As soon as I cut into my ribs and tried them I sighed in defeat. The sauce on top was ice cold, not luke warm or even room temp, but out of the refrigerator cold. The ribs themselves were room temp at best, they had no indication that they had been warmed. I know ribs are pre-cooked then sauced and rewarmed and I could have safely eaten them at room temp but I came to a restaurant to get them served hot, not at room temp. I went ahead and ate my sides while I waited for our server. Ashley came by after about 5 more minutes and asked how everything was, I pointed out the sides were luke warm but the ribs were not even that, they were room temp at best with cold sauce. She indicated she would get the service manager, at this point I was trying to decide if I just live with eating my sides then go since I knew I didn't want to wait another 10-15 minutes for them to re-cook new ones or what solution I might have. After another 3-5 minutes Ashely again checked to see if the service manager had come by, she had not, my buddy was just about finished by this time. When the service manager arrived, about 2-3 minutes later she basically looked at me like she didn't believe me that the food was cold. She suggested that she could re-cook them, again that would take 10-15 more minutes while my buddy I guess was just supposed to wait with me then watch me eat my hopefully correct ribs, or I could get something else fast. When I asked what might be a faster option she suggested a salad or maybe a couple of other sides since I already ate my two that came with the cold ribs. When I suggested that maybe she just bill me for the sides I ate and keep the ribs, she asked if I wasn't sure I didn't want them to cook me some new ones I could take home with me and eat later. Exasperated I simply gave up and asked her for a box and said I would take the cold ribs they gave me and just heat them up at home later. Satisfied she solved my problem she departed and Ashley brought me a box. I am writing this review because was I not only dissatisfied with the food I was served as it was definitely sub par but also because I felt the solution to their failure to provide a good product was also sub par. I felt I paid you full price for your to prepare and deliver to me to consume in your establishment a food product. If you did not do that and you expected me to take it home, finish preparing it and consume it at a later time, then you should have at least reduced the bill. Really a...

First off i want to let this be known ive visited this location since it first opened and has always been good and if there was a problem the manager handled it wonderfully. Tonight was a birthday dinner for a member of my family that was ruined and almost the worst experience ive ever had at a restaurant in my 50 yrs. Tonight was terrible as far entrees. First off we waited 20 min for rolls then we had ordered the cheese fries and they where good and warm just like the bread. No complaints w the start of the dinner but that was it. The rest was upsetting. Took over an hr to get food that was brought out room temp and i mean every item. Including my steak that was asked to be well done but as the waiter said was medium rare. My potato wouldnt melt the butter and it was placed in the potato, even trying to stir the potato still wouldnt melt the butter. Country style chicken thata the gravy had a layer of gravy that was dry across the top, broccoli cold that was supposed to have cheese but no cheese. Waiter brought out shredded cheese for cold broccoli so it wouldnt melt the cheese it just stayed there chilling. Both daughters meals room temp. Mentioned to the waiter about the situation and he took the steak that i had cut half of up w a knife i had previously had in my mouth back for them to finish cooking which i thought was crazy as ive been sick and just getting over a cold. At this time we have been here an hr and a half. Now i ask for a manager, she comes out to apologize and i say the food came out cold to which she ignored almost other than to say we can remake the food or we can remake and box it to take home. Which is crazy because we came to eat since we had not eaten today as we had been waiting on this meal so we could be good and hungry to eat it up. So no i dont want to take it home and no i dont want to sit here for another hr and a half for fresh food. None of the food was finished. The chicken style chicken was half eaten from being so hungry only 1 full piece of broccoli was eaten and 2 bites of mashed potatoes and the manager says over half the meal was ate. Daughter ate one bite of mashed potatoes and half a chicken finger at this time my other daughter had ate 2 chicken fingers and hadnt touches her fries. About this time the manager brings out my old steak i had partially cut up and i was like u really put that back on the grill to which she replied it was ok she was trained u could put it back on the grill after it had been on the table and cut up w a knife that had been in my mouth. Just doesnt sound the best. But she said its ok. So i asked for another baked potato since it came out and wouldnt melt the butter from the go and i havent ate any of it to get it replaced by another that was barely warm enough to melt the butter and once i cut back into the steak still had pink in the middle. Not well done and it was also just warm. To which i did eat most all of it and about 2/3rd of the potato. But honestly the manager took off $8 for the headache, bad entrees and wasting almost 2.5 hrs of our time.. and so we left to only go up the road to Burger King and bought warm food to eat on our way back home and didnt have to spend almost $75 without tip to have a decent meal that was what we ordered and was hot and fresh in under 10 minutes. Please get the management team together as we heard others complaining around us as well. And to which upon leaving even walked outside the door on the sidewalk to even have vomit 15-20 ft from the door. Guess we wasnt the only ones not happy. But thanks for a ruined birthday and meal Texas Roadhouse.. U really done it...

Well to start off if I could give this place a zero I would I am a traveling nurse and just got back in the states and remembered that I I didn’t gave a review on what was supposed to be my 40th birthday celebration on March 3 which was my 40th birthday me and my family decided to go out to eat however, this was not the first place we decided to go but because I had to catch a flight that next morning we decided to settle at this location upon arriving there was a hour wait which was fine which turned into more than a hour. Once the food arrived on the table. I noticed my chicken steak gravy had a silk coat over it as it was not hot at all. My broccoli did not have cheese on it as I ordered it took a bite into it and yeah it was pretty much cold as if it has sit in the window. my husband ordered a well done steak, and once he cut into it, it poured blood, he took a bite out of the corner piece and said no I cannot deal with this so we call the waiter over and explain to them the situation he took the steak back and Bron me out shredded cheese to put over my cold broccoli. We then asked for the manager when the manager came she had the same steak that my husband bit into and we started to complain about the food and she proceeds to tell us well hold on one minute I want you to taste this steak to make sure that it is well done now, me and my husband looked at each other and he took a bite into the steak and I looked dead at the manager and said to her is that the same steak that was on the table and she proceeds to tell me yes and I told her I know you did not take that steak that he bit into and put it back on y’all grill !!! she said yes we do it all the time now with me being from a medical background that is a big no no in the fact that my husband had Covid a week prior to this is why it is a big no no I questioned her and said you know you cannot do that she told me yes we can. We do it all the time and when I trained at my other location, we did it as well because the grill is heated up to 400° and I proceeded to tell her it does not matter you just exposed all of your customers to all types of illnesses. You never take meat that’s been at a table back to the back, and I proceeded to tell her I would definitely be contacting the health department about this matter, and she seemed to not even care , and when I told her to take my meal off, she told me I can’t take it off I can fix you another meal after seeing that deadly cross contamination I wanted no food from this location! she refused to take any of our meals off the ticket and only offered us to go drinks. It was so bad I didn’t even get a chance to get signed happy birthday to on my 40th birthday by far. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. it made my 40th birthday the worst and put thousands at risk for infection, and she seemed to care...
