Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Oxford

Went today for the first time and I had a big order for multiple people. Well I had told them that they were all seperate orders, but to put them all together. Well they didn't do that, but it was okay. I started getting irratated when they thought that they had to send 3 people out to tell me what was on the ticket and that it was all in the bag and then they stood over me until I stood up to leave. I was very irritated that I was rushed out the door, even if a business is super busy that is so unprofessional and rude. Well I get back to my place of work on the other side of oxford and realize that they didn't even get my order right. So I call them and tell them the problem and I said if you give me a second I will come back and get it, but they were fixing to close and said no we can't do that, sorry! I was like well now I have people that can't eat and I would appreciate it if you would wait like 5 minutes and I can come get what you messed up and they wouldn't let me so they kept giving me the run around and before it was all over I had talked to 5 different people, when they finally decided to just give me 3 free meal cards instead. So now I have co workers that won't be able to eat tonight and don't have the money to go get something due to the fact that they spent it on Chicken Salad Chick. Such rude staff. We absolutely love chicken salad chick normally. We are from Alabama but were coming home from a funeral in South Carolina last weekend. We stopped by hoping to get food with 20 minutes left until closing. We were greeted at the door with very dirty looks and eye rolls that we even stepped foot in the door. We left Immediately because we felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome. We understand if the place was about to close. But it is chicken salad you scoop on a plate and there was 20 minutes on the dot until close. They were already sweeping and mopping to early close I guess. They could have politely told us they were trying to close early because it was not busy for a while- anything other than the way they looked at us and whispered to each other about us. On a whim, I ordered from this place. I am not a huge fan of chicken salad. Like most people, I have had bad to horrible versions of this dish. What this chain has done is incredible! They took the basic, everyday chicken salad and rendered it perfectly! Then, that not being enough, they came up with numerous tasty variations. Add in their other items and attention to detail, you end up with incredibly flavorful meals. For me, for health reasons, I eat low carb. This place is the Nirvana for low-carb and diabetic diners. If you can discipline yourself and avoid their wonderful breads, cookies, and sweets(good luck), you will eat well and manage sub-5 carb meals without feeling cheated.
