I made my 2nd and last visit to our local Michaelâs in Anniston, AL. I made a special trip to buy an oblique calligraphy pen. I couldnât find it, so I asked an employee and she directed me to the pens. I told her I needed one with a cartridge for the ink and specifically didnât need a dip pen. She handed me one and I proceeded to the register. An older lady was sitting in a chair and stood up to ring me out. She seemed aggravated that she had to stand. She NEVER said one word to me which I thought was rather inappropriate. I left without a âthank youâ or a âcome back to see usâ. I opened the pen when I got home and it was the wrong pen (no cartridge). After church today, I went to return it. She looked at my receipt and said, â âthis was on clearance and is a final sale.â I told her there were no signs to indicate this. I even went over and checked for a sign, went back and told her again there was nothing to indicate a clearance. When I told her that, she showed me the receipt and said, âsee the âCâ that means clearanceâ. That C meant nothing to me. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager! I couldnât imagine someone this hateful and unfriendly managing anything, especially a place of business! Needless to say, I left with intentions of never returning. Arenât clearance items supposed to be marked ? There was nothing to indicate such. Sure wish I had made a picture! She probably hung a sign...

I asked the rep if she could hold it for me, and she agreed. I arrived at the store in less than 15min and the rep that I spoke to on the phone was actually was working in the front. She advised they hadnât brought the item up to the front, but directed me where to go in the store. This was an inconvenience due to me being in a rush. I went to retrieve the item and asked for the mgr to see if they would honor the 20% savings coupon from the website. The manager had to be called to the front twice and it took approximately 15min in an empty store. She wasnât apologetic, but she honored the 20% coupon once I showed her.    Read moreJust ran in to use their UPS drop off desk. Turns out it's just at the register. đ¤Śââď¸ Idk why I've been intimated to try one of these drop off places before. It was very convenient except the part where Michael's is located right next to Five Below and my kids bullied me into taking them in there after dropping off my packages. Despite the fact that I had no clue what I was doing and that my printer had the idea to print my labels large enough for someone in space to read them the cashier made the entire experience painless and quick. I was in and out in less then a minute and I even showed great self control and did not aimlessly wonder and purchase things that I wanted but did not need because I am unfortunately not in the middle of a project but I...
