Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Oxford

I usually don’t do reviews on Fast Food locations as the expectations are usually minimal. However, after my experience at this location I had to leave a review. With that said, let’s talk about service!

Known for its service standards, Chik-Fil-A is an establishment that sets a high standard for customer service and employee to consumer satisfaction. Today, I had the opportunity to experience Gracie and I am convinced that she wrote the book on how to deliver AMAZING Customer Service. Gracie welcomed us into Chik-Fil-A with an amazing smile, vibrant personality, and organic cheer. As I walked to her register she maintained her amazingness throughout taking my order. When my sister began to place her order, Gracie still displayed customer service awesomeness. I’m talking about stellar service from an amazing individual. Thank you, Gracie.

As we decided to dine-in Gracie ended up bringing our food to the table and guess what… she was still Awesomeeeeeeeeee. She delivered our food with a smile and thanked us again for coming into Chik-Fil-A.

To continue the amazing experience, my food was fresh. Not just regular fresh, but fresh fresh. My Chicken Strips tasted ‘farm to table’ fresh and were perfectly seasoned and fried. Though Chik-Fil-A food is always good, this was a different kind of good. LoL!

Great Service. Fresh Fries, Fresh Strips, and Polynesian Sauce! What better way to spend your Saturday???

The gentleman who was working the dining area was awesome as well. He welcomed us in, thanked us for dining, and gave us after dinner mints. Yes! There were mints too. LoL!!! For the record, if Fine Dining Fast Food was a thing, this would be it.

The location is spotless. The ambiance is vibrant and the staff at the registers are efficient and conscious of one’s time… To whomever hired Gracie, you deserve a Gold Star. To whomever set the standards for service expectations at this location, you deserve a service deliverable award. And, to Gracie… You deserve a million Thank You’ and a Happy Customer Bonus!!

The small things adding up is what led to this review… After accidentally giving me fried nuggets instead of grilled nuggets (which we were goin to give to our pups as a treat) when we had went in and informed the employees that there was a mistake, instead of asking if we would like it before they threw it away they just threw it away in front of us when it could’ve been used instead of wasted. Let’s try to help you environment guys instead of wasting food we don’t have to waste!

I don’t know if it’s company policy to throw things away automatically like such but this did NOT sit well with myself or my partner. It just didn’t feel right to throw something away so easily when it could’ve been used…. Who knows maybe some raccoons will have some good food for dinner tonight haha

Food was alright but there was something a bit off we had noticed in every item compared to the Chic fil a’s we normally go to in the Carolinas. It was quite odd, there was an after taste of chemicals in the chicken and pickles.

Also can’t do a survey unless you have a recipe # so don’t accidentally throw your recipe away if you want to review! Tried calling to get number but unfortunately the employees cannot lookup the transaction. The employees did nothing wrong but the survey system they have going on here shouldn’t be this hard to try to review on a survey. The recipe could’ve stated “you need the code in order to participate in a survey.”

The bathrooms are so heavily fragranced that you gotta cover your nose or your throat will start burning, I hate to complain about something small as such but it was so bad I cannot not say anything lol

No biggie, whatever but just a lot of small things adding up. Normally chic fil a goes above and beyond service… but this time eh… It could be worse but this place could definitely be better and they could definitely have a better/ updated system within the company. Really hate to complain on here publicly by bringing the reviews down instead of just being able to complete a simple online survey form by giving them personal...

EDITED ON 1/6/2025 - I just received my DoorDash order from Chick Fil A. My son's order was correct; however, I ordered a Southwest Chicken salad with chicken strips. I DID NOT receive the following which SHOULD have been in my order: *Fork (for salad) *Knife (for salad) *Pepitos (supposed to come with Southwest salad) *Seasoned Tortilla Strips (supposed to come with Southwest salad *Straws for drinks

DO BETTER NEXT TIME!!!! DOUBLE CHECK ORDERS BEFORE SENDING THEM OUT. YOU 5 STAR RATING DROPS TO 1 STAR UNTIL I SEE BETTER.

Chick Fil A of Oxford is the best Chick Fil A there is. With a friendly staff and consistently good food, it is one of our favorite places to visit for fast food. I appreciate that there are many different menu options available. The store and restrooms are always clean. The management team is top notch and it shows in how well their restaurant is run. The only down side is that we recently found out that David, the extremely nice and very outgoing dining room attendant, had retired after eleven years of employment.
